I could definitely see AJ coming back for like a one-time pop but the way Phil talks about her, she has no need to come back for a run.
I'd definitely say she's made herself a pretty damn nice career outside of wrestling, so I can understand why she'd have no need for a WWE return. Maybe if she just wanted to hear the pop again, or a one off like you said, but yeah I wouldn't really expect her to make a full wrestling comeback.
I don't expect a run but more of a Rumble surprise. Get a heel more heat by eliminating her.

CM Punk thanks Cena for his career in WWE because Cena put him over more than once when most top guys wouldn’t. Not to mention Cena and Punk had pretty good matches. Cena was always a businessman. While he may have held back certain guys, he also did business for others. After all the years of fans booing Cena out of the building, he’s finally getting his due respect and it’s nice to see that. Cena will be missed once he is gone.
The "guys" Cena supposedly "held" back were nothin but midcarders at best. Punk was put over cause he was hot among the fans and was somewhat believable to be a top star. Same goes in the case of KO, AJ, Roman, Balor, Wyatt

CM Punk is looking great. I feel like he looked out of shape when he was in AEW. He looks healthy and I hope he can stay that way for a few more years. I love seeing him in WWE. He was the reason I started watching again back in 2013. I stopped sometime around 1998. I use to watch with my Dad and he would take me to the shows when they were in town. So after my Dad passed after I had my first son, I developed really bad anxiety and one night when I couldn’t sleep, my husband worked thirds, I started getting on CZcams and watching old videos of Macho Man and then ran across CM Punk and I just loved everything about him. It helped my anxiety. Sorry so long winded. But watching WWE brings back so many good memories with my Dad. Plus my Dad looked so much like Macho Man and he would do “Oh Yeah” and wrestle with us. Makes me tear up thinking about it.
