Even if they reuse it a lot, I can't blame them it still blows me away how lovingly animated the Nu Gundam is right down to frame by frame animations and constant references to the movie and other things. Especially how much attention they draw to that full 360 degree spectrum of combat that was always emphasized in CCA. Honestly even the Hi-Nu's animations aren't as good imo.

The Nu we see in T is a result of being worked on ever since Z3, and many of the animation poses have been used since Z2. The result is an absolutely beautiful unit with incredibly polished animations, because they've been polished for years across five releases. 30 redid the sprite entirely, so all the animations had to be redone as well, and a lot of the polish was lost as a result.
I don't understand why replace arios' nu gundam it's one of his best animations he clearly put a lot of time into I'd rather have had them just skip out on using nu if they don't want it to get old
@to2wacze612 I think mainly when it comes to greedy company they might need to pay more to higher animators artist. Since Banprasto is out of the picture on the "mid development" there where they cut alot of cost and this is why you seeing 50% of the animation still using the old animators and others 50% are some cheap azz cgi.
To be fair, he one from the Z series got a lot of retouches and new animations through the games, even in V, it's of surprising they didn't made new ones for this, seems they did it for the Hi-nu this time around though.
They should stop this yearly releases and take some time to make a new games with a decent budget and new animations. Most of the games these past few years weren't that different from each other
Game animation? Yes same engine and style. Nu Gundam's attack animation? No, it changed alot from Z. Almost all the attacks got new animation. From V? Some are similar except for 2nd attack (beam gun), Funnels and the final attack. From X? Yes, almost the same except for 2nd attack (beam gun) and funnels. To be honest with you, Nu Gundam got the best animation in the game or one of the best and it is not boring at all to watch it with beyond the time BGM. Unlike the crappy Hai new Gundam.
