Tried 3 sets of DRL boards two from one company another set from another company from different company. First set burnt out, but all had error msg. LIGHT MALFUNCTION. done with DRLs waiting on retrofit headlights for BMW M340i

Yes, there is a way. All you would have to do is take off the wheel then take off the wheel well.
