Hey bro excellent mod to refresh an E46 interior, do you have any recommendation to upgrade the car speakers on budget, and can you control the bass etc from this android screen ?

im currently still running the stock speakers, just have a sub installed. i know bavsound makes some good speakers that fit like oem but they are more on the expensive side. and yes you can control the different amp and frequency settings from the android screen
@Mrklein any tip on how to connect when there is no flashlight holder?
For a flush install you could use a fuse tap and power it through the fuse box from one of the fuses

I saw in the Video that you use the same infotainment System like me. Do you reckon it could be posaible to connect the light strips through the android tablet? So that in the end you could control the light with your built in system.
Yes it should work, I use the infotainment system I have to control my all my interior lights and my front halo headlights

You could connect it to a fuse with a fuse tap

Sadly i haven't, I need a kit with six led sources instead of the four I got with my kit to add some to the door carts.
Is the E46 compatible with any type of android player/screen? The car accessory store near my place told me that it only accepts "alpine branded" screens. I wasn't sure if that was the case so I didn't go through with it.
I dont think thats the case, the unit i have is called a eanon unit i believe. As long as the unit you buy is built for the e46 you should be fine. Ive seen them on amazon and aliexpress

The specific one i got was from a local Facebook ad that someone had for sale, there is also a link in the description of the video and another link on how to make one DIY at home.

how did you install your led foot lights
I powered them through the same glovebox auxiliary flashlight port and did the wiring in a similar way

Did you use some kind of lube to shove the fiber into the holder for the top trim piece?
No lube it just slips in

@@matteo94164 get close and use a flashlight to see if you can find where the crevice is exactly and fit it in, i never had any trouble with mine it went it pretty easy
@@_mrklein I got it eventually, I just cut small slits in the tube and separated it into 3 smaller pieces (one for each piece of trim) and that made it sooo much easier. Also thanks for the vid, I never even knew these kits were a thing!

i never did, might make another video extending them to the door carts and rear seats later on though

you have to purchase a auxiliary flashlight port adapter or purchase a fuse tap and power it through one of those.

when you max out the temp it says hi instead of 32 degrees

yes you can, it connects to your phone and you can make it to any color you want with alot of extra different settings.
