Water Proofing the Varla Pegasus

  • Summer is over and the seasons are changing so it is time to make sure your scooter is water proofed correctly to make sure no leaks get into the battery compartment. It is easier than you think to do and you don't need to use silicone sprays or any other crazy stuff like that, that some have used to try and seal their scooter for wet environments.

    Don’t you need to seal the screws?

      Yes! I might of cut that out but yes just place the water proof sealant over the screw holes as well when fastening it back down

    Anything much different to do for the E1?

      The E1 is easier. Just peel up the grip tape unscrew the screws around the top panel and once you take the panel off then just apply a bead of silicone all the way around the top of the rubber gasket and it doesn't need to be very thick. Then just put the panel back in place and re-screw it back down and thats it.
