I made this last week. It was delicious! I didn’t use cayenne however I had some Habanero salt and I used that. It was amazing! The caramelized oyster mushrooms were a nice touch!

I followed the recipe as is, but added 1 tsp of thyme at the same time as the other spices and this was amazing! Definitely going to keep this in my recipe rotation. For my OMAD & Keto diet, this made 2 LARGE servings. Love your channel, keep the recipes coming.

I was feeling kinda wore out the other day so I made mushroom and avocado soup. I used some bacon fat to saute and boxed OG mushroom stock. So yummy and made me feel better.

For those of you wanting to can this soup, can it before you add the cream. When you heat it up to eat, then add the cream. SO DELICIOUS!
Just made this. It is soooo good!!!! The only issue I had is that it did not make enough (about 2 servings)! Next time I will triple the recipe so that I can use in in other recipes. I have never had homemade mushroom soup, and this was not disappointing. My husband hates mushrooms and complained the whole time I was making it (no, he did not try it, that would be asking way to much of him!). I will just have to make it when he is gone! I use mushroom soup (canned) in many recipes that he loves, he just doesn't know :)
