Sneaker of the year. Love the earthy tones and it doesn't go too crazy with the color blocking. Can seamlessly slide it into my wardrobe and match a good amount of pieces. Honestly we deserve a GR cw this simple but good.
2 place. Number 1 is lapis lazuli v6

Fantastic colorway, v6 are so beautiful
No more than 130 people was in line before me, so my wait time was less than 45secs 😆🙌🏿 must’ve been my order history. I got a few WIP pieces already to compliment the brand, but I can’t wait to set these up with my fall fits. I didn’t expect this collab and out of the 5 collabs I picked up this year this is a commutual no.1!
Excellent review as always. I think the colorway on this Carhartt collab feels truer to their brand than last year’s. I was able to hit on retail, although I bought from a German site so it cost a bit more when compared to US cost. Still very happy with the purchase!

Having a monochromatic wardrobe is fun with more playful shoes like this one! You can always make the pair centerpiece of your fit!

The more I look at them the more tbey grow on me. I love the colorway i just havent accepted the v6 model as of yet! 😊

I got the lapis colorway about a week ago because I'm a bronson fan. To me it's really the only color that makes me like the shoes. When I see em in other colors I just can't help but think old man shoes@@inTha803
@@inTha803 surprisingly no they’re also growing on me too. I’m stuck on v3 I love that model they’re so sleek; however, I’ll try them out soon!
I lucked out and secured my size via New Balance. That in its self is a first for me. Great review as always!

First v6 I'm not really a fan of. Not sure why but I feel like the heritage colors of C WIP don't really match with the tech-y feel of the v6. Def. would have preferred this colorway on a v4 or below.
agreed. not bad at all but this colorway would have been a much better fit and executed better on a different model.
They look so good 🔥 I copped two pairs in two different sizes then I’ll decided which size it’s going to fit me better and sell the other pair 🤷🏻♂️😂

that’s where i’m at with it on the Best New Balance released of this year. Top of my head of course. Some great GRs in the mix that went unmentioned too. Heaters and sleepers.
I've been going TTS on the v6. It's too narrow across the ball of the foot 1/2 size down.
It was very easy to cop in Europe I copped two pairs. Best cw for fall season so far.

Any reason why my pair has a grey sock liner? Purchased from the UK new balance site 🙃 however if I put a camera on the shoes it appears green?

OHlalalalalalalalala, elle est très belle , sean merci pour cette partie on foot. Pour ma part sur ce modèle je prends toujours une demi taille au dessus. habituellement je fais du 45, mais je suis légèrement serré , très légèrement dans le 45 , mais très a l'aise sur du 45,5

These over the stone islands any day. The gray 991v2 imo looks better than the stone islands, ill probably be picking that one up at some point. Might even wait for it to go on discounts 😅

I think that 990v3 is so superior as a silhouette, the only other thing I can look at is v4. v6 looks more like a performance sneaker than a lifestyle sneaker tbh.
It's not bad, huge Carhartt WIP vibes. I had to pass on them since I just spent a million dollars on the Stone Island 991v2 release 2 days before this release.

Nice shoe but this shade of brown remind me to much of boots which in my opinion doesn't work for the sneaker. I don't think I'd like the colourway on any sneaker. 💖

Easy pass. Colours don’t suit the v6. Would look better on the v3 imo.
Not a fan of that BIG giant "N" on their shoe. New Balance in general put too much branding on their shoe. They need to learn how to incorporate their logo into their design like Puma or Asics and sometime Adidas.
These ain't it. Without Carhartt WIP brand attached would anyone be as excited? Not sure.
