It's great that Knuckles broke stream records. Yet Knuckles himself deserved better in the show.

When they start making a spin-off about Shadow, Jeff Fowler will very likely take it seriously with the production quality of that film and try to make sure that it will be great and not shy away from directing every episode. Especially because he's an official major fan of that Ultimate Lifeform hedgehog, which makes it kind-of obvious that he will likely try to make sure that there won't be a lack of appearances of the titular character in that spin-off.
I'm not too surprised since Sonic is basically the last major franchise that Paramount has left that they haven't screwed up yet. I thought the Knuckles show was okay, but Wade having more screen time than Knuckles did hurt it a bit.
I'm still really hyped for Sonic 3 tho!
It's because the people involved with *_Sonic_* care about the fans (especially after the original design got massive backlash, to which they admitted they were wrong), and are giving the fans what they want.
They got transformers and Star Trek. Everything aside form discovery is doing very well

I think I also heard that Nickelodeon isn't doing good either outside of SpongeBob & Paw Patrol.
The first two episodes were good, but then it becomes the Wade series, with very little of Knuckles. People didn't watch for Wade. Paramount destroyed the Star Trek franchise by letting Kurtzman take over.

After what they did to Star Trek they deserve to go bankrupt.

Let's hope "Sonic" does save Paramount from bankruptcy. I'm so hyped about "Sonic 3!"
The show was ok, I agree it does become the Wade show, toward the end, but don’t let that dissuade you. I think it helps ground the character and hopefully if they green light more seasons we can see more of his backstory and more characters within the sonic universe. I would say it’s more like dead poets society or the breakfast club in that it’s something you would watch in your own time, it can be cheesy at times, but I’m excited to see more of the universe built out. I do know they want to do other spin-off shows with Tails, Amy, and probably more so if it’s anything like this, hopefully Paramount sees the feedback and improves it before going forward with the rest of them, because it reminded me a lot of the first Sonic movie where yes we have Sonic but there’s more of the human character’s backstory revealed.
It would've made sense to call it, Knuckles & Wade, instead of Knuckles alone.
I hope IF does too.

Maybe *_Sonic_* will also show to Paramount if you stick to what actually works and give fans what they want, then you'll be praised to the heavens.

That’s very doubtful. If knuckles is the success they claim it is, they’ll need multiple successes like it.
Its not as strong as the movies but it should have had more knuckles. Hopefully they will fix that for season 2 if it happens.
I loved it. I thought knuckles was great. A little too much wade but cgi costs money so had to use knuckles sparingly I guess

For as much as the fandom complains about the Knuckles show not having enough Knuckles… I agree, but think about it. Knuckles had his character arc from the games in the second movie while Wade has only had bit parts in the first two movies, so if anyone was going to be prioritized by the show in terms of development, it was going to be Adam Pally’s character. That, and Wade’s arc is actually pretty solid.

My kids watched Knuckles last night. It was really good - fun and well made. It didnt look cheap like a lot of movie to tv stuff can

I watched the Knuckles show....I hated it. I wanted more focus of Knuckles or any other potential Sonic characters cameos. Not Wade, his annoying FBI sister acting like a woman-child, and all the other humans. The writing and story are terrible and the humans felt forced and were behaving cringey. What a waste of potential.
Despite the minor quibbles we had, my family and I have binge watched this THREE times! We love it and cannot wait for Sonic 3!
