- A woman in our private Facebook group posted a video about the gender ring test, so we decided to try it for ourselves to see if it was accurate. The concept is simple, you take a piece of hair and string it through your ring. Then, you traced your fingers with the ring and then hold it over your hand. If the ring swings back and forth, it's a girl! If it swings in a circle, it's a boy. And if it stops, that means no more kids. Watch this video to see our results!

So I wanted come back here and comment. I watched this video last year. I don’t remember how I came across this but watched it and I also did the ring test.
When I did this I only had two boys and we were dead sure we are done having babies. So anyways I did it, and my results were boy boy, girl. I just laughed and thought this is crazy and it happened because it’s in my head and maybe because I really wanted to have a daughter even though we are done having a baby.
Fast forward an year. I am holding my beautiful 3 months old baby girl as I’m writing this. Crazy!!!

I’ve done this test multiple times with my engagement ring and got the same result from three years ago. Just tried it with my wedding band, and same result. I told a lot of family to do it who already have kids and it’s been right every single time😳

I've done this, and everytime I get the same result! I had a miscarriage, 3 girls, miscarriage. The ring told me I had a boy, 4 girls, and a boy. Dead stop after, every single time.

OMG! So I just did this to my little sister, myself, and my mother. It told my little sister that she would have one child. A girl. It told me that I would have 13 children!!! Four girls and nine boys!!! We then decided to do this to my mother. It told her that she had four children. Two boys and two girls, which is exactly what happened!!! I’m amazed!!!

So, it seems it doesn't matter if boy is circle and girl is back and forth or if it's the other way around. I think the results are consistant with whatever you establish before doing the test.
I tried it this way, boy being circle and girl being back and forth. I have 2 boys and am currently pregnant with boy #3. My husband wants to be done, but I'm not sure. I like to just go one kid at a time and see how we feel.
The ring seemed like it was going to go back and forth but then definetly moved into a clear circular montion and continued. I continued and this was the pattern I got: boy, boy, boy, girl, girl, stop. 😱
I believe there could be a psychological component here, especially considering that some people use the opposite and get accurate results. The mind is a powerful thing, and it's possible that we know somewhere inside us what children we will have. Call it women's intuition. I felt like I almost WILLED the first three to go a certain way, though I promise I did not move it any certain way on purpose. I wondered if I might have another after this one, and I wondered if it would be a girl, but I fully expected it to stop after that! I was surprised by the second girl.
Your right, it's the same as a pendulum, and your subconscious can in fact move it how you want, you must release your thoughts and just relax or ask the question, am I having a boy or girl?

I have seen this trick when I was like 12 and my friends and I tried this so many times. But we did it with gold chain and gold ring! We used the letters of the persons name. You keep putting the chain in the palm and when you finish with letters it would move round or vertically and it would stop. So crazy! Thanks for showing this. When i saw this video i was really freaked out...and though i wanted to try it i didnt at first...but after a few days i did...and the result was boy girl girl girl and boy....well i already have a boy...he is 7years old now...and three years back i lost a baby...i was 4 months pregnant at the time....and the baby was a girl....it was a huge shock for me...and took me a lot of time to recover.....we never tried for another baby cos i was scared .....but i do want more babies....hoping this new year i will be lucky enough....to become pregnant again....

Actually depends the way you swing it. If you move it from thumb to pink around the fingers, not between fingers it's:
girl =circle boy = line straight = none
If you do it this way, between finger it's:
boy=circle girl=line straight=none
The way to always do it so you don't have to switch between methods when going over the belly is to just swing from thumb to pinky around the fingers and not in between fingers and get the best reading.

So, weirdly I was never supposed to have children due to a rare uterus condition. But ended up having a baby girl, the ring swung back and forth for two minutes and 30 seconds before I finally stopped it the first time. Second time, it swung back and forth only a couple times and came to a dead stop. I was shocked, I always felt like she was my one and done, I just knew she would be my only child. According to your prediction of back and forth being a girl and circle being a boy it was wrong for me. But when I searched ancient wives tales it said the opposite, circle being a girl and back and forth being a boy. I seen what u posted and long story short both times I was pregnant with both my daughters a brown recluse crawled across my hand at like 10 weeks.. I thought that was weird bc It only happened when I was pregnant. I’m pregnant now, 9 weeks. No brown recluse yet. Hoping that means a boy. I done the ring test just holding it over my wrist and it said girl, girl, and then boy and wen I held it over my belly , it said boy. It said I will have a forth and that one will be a boy too. What do u think?

I did this four times and got the same result each time. I got: boy (possibly twin boys because the movement and motion of the ring was much stronger and larger for this round in comparison to other rounds), then another boy, and then a girl. When I try to predict anything else past the girl, the ring starts switching back and forth between small circles and back/front motions before stopping entirely. I'm curious to see if this ends up coming true. I've been told by psychics that I'm going to have three pregnancies, so I always assumed that I would only have three children; I never considered the possibility of twins!

Now, when I do this with my belly it says that circular motion is a girl, and back and forth is a boy. Holding the ring over my belly puts it in a circular motion indicating girl. Guess we'll see what happens!

I just did this, and it came out girl girl boy. My boyfriend and I did a card trick similar to this where We would shuffle the deck. I would cut it and then flip over the top card. Red - girl, black - boy. Every time it was a girl (I was pregnant at the time and we didn’t know the gender yet- side note i did end up having a girl) however after every time we flipped over the top card, we would flip over the next cards after to see how far off I was from seeing a black hard. We did this 6-7 times. Every time it was red red black so I guess we are having two girls and a boy!!! Crazy!

The only gender prediction I'd ever believed in prior to doing this was the nub theory (When the baby is in optimal position- mine always hid the nub 😑). I had 2 boys, and tried this when I was pregnant with my third. I was CONVINCED I was having a third boy. Everything told me it was a boy, no-one in my partners family have been able to concieve a girl and all have 3 boys each. So thought we were destined for that too. Also at my 12 week scan, I thought I got a quick glimpse of the nub which suggested boy. All 3 of my babies scan photos looked the same, same shaped skull, jaw line etc. And also all symptoms were exact same (which was no symptoms at all...)
Therefore there was NO doubt in my mind, I was having another boy.
HOWEVER, the ring swing (this exact version) said otherwise. Boy, boy, girl, girl. Each and EVERY time.

In our family and friends we have tried it with a necklace and whatever is hanging from it and it works we from what I can remember I was a lil girl. I also hear of another way to know of what ur next child will be by looking at the back of the child head at where the neck hair is it it's round it one sex and if it's pointy it's another sex not quite sure about that one but I hear it's true also. We also in Mexican culture we use to put a fork and spoon on a chair each on a delegate chair and the pregnant woman didn't know what chair was which and usually they would sit in the right utensil lol lots of old wives tails. To anyone wondering about which is which (as some say line boy, circle girl) you can ask the ring/pendulum/needle and thread. Hold it over your lap and say "show me boy" etc, it will indicate which movement is for boy in your case, same with girl.

I’ve always wanted a lot of kids and I did this test and got 7. Boy, girl, girl, boy, girl, girl, boy. I’ve tried it many times and got the same answers back. Ahhh yay!

It worked for me. My first is a girl and I'm pregnant with a boy. Then it said I'm done. I didn't believe cause I did the belly test with my first and it was wrong but this was spot on!

My friends and I do this test once a year and every time without fail I get 4 boys and 1 girl (in that order). Which is funny because I’ve always dreamed of having 5 kids.

I heard about this method from a different CZcams video, and came across this one trying to look into it. I decided to try it out, and it just stops every time. I was just recently diagnosed with endometriosis, so it looks like mine will also be right.

I usually do this on the palm of my hand and I get (back and forth) boy and then a circle for a girl!

Mine reads the same as palm,I have 2 sons already and on the back of my hand it goes back and forth for both boys,then it goes in a circle for a girl

Wanted to come back here after I did this test. And it said we were having a boy first and we did definitely had a boy!!
I just did it twice... and both times it says I’m having 4 girls.... I’m on baby #3 and everyone thinks it’s a boy - it’s too early to get a gender reveal so we’ll see. Lol it’s crazy I remember doing this when I was younger but I don’t remember the outcome.

I tried it! So far it's correct. It said I was only having 3 kids. Boy, boy, girl... I have 2 boys & currently 14 weeks & 4 days pregnant with my 3rd. Guess we have to wait & see! 😅👍
I have literally done this so many times and get the exact same result every time 🙌🏼 Boy, girl, boy... I currently have a 6 year old boy and 16 weeks pregnant with baby nr 2 - (finding out the gender in 2 weeks) 😃😃 will let you know the outcome!

I just did this I’m pregnant with my first & don’t know what it is . According to this it’s a girl & then 2 boys. Weirdly enough a fortune teller 10 years ago told me I would have two boys & a girl (unsure of the order). Now, Every one except my husband keeps telling me it’s a girl & I dreamt her twice already she looks just like my husband & his mom with her bright blue eyes!
Update: it was right! I ended up having a girl & weirdly enough she looks EXACTLY like my husband & his mom! She also had blue eyes at birth , now they are green/ gray like my husbands! I’m low key wanting another baby … & came back to this video to recall what I would be having next if I decide on baby #2 😅

Kristen LemMon i think im Pregnant now with a girl. When i do it i hold it over my belly it goes fast in circles! But i took a 99 cent pregnancy test today.. showing up negative .. but im only 6 days late so i dont Know whats going on! Help!
