I was Larry's guitar player from 1999-2002 and on occasion from 2003-2006. He was the most wonderful person outside of my wife that I've ever met. Such a genius and a sweet soul. Thank you for bringing attention to his music.

I have a very extensive Larry collection - my faves include Right Here In America, Shot Down, Six O'Clock News, NIghtmare #71, Elvis Has Left The Building, Baroquen Spirits, Six Sixty Six and more

Larry & People knocked the Doors "Light My Fire" out of #1 with "I Love You"

Larry Norman, Barry Mcguire, Randy Stonehill, Andre Crouch, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Keith Green. Loved them in the 70's and still do till this day.
Larry was certainly a gifted singer/song writer and could have been much more popular had he gone full tilt rock & roll.
There was another, not so great side to him that was documented in a DVD. But then, who is without sin?

Yes a few of those mentioned could have been much more famous had they gone mainstream. And very true about sin and the answer as we both know is no one! Thanks Jack!

Excellent list Äsmund. Song here I wasn’t familiar with. The most recent list I submitted includes Norman’s “The Outlaw”… didn’t know your list was already there. Go figure. Looking forward to part 2.

I think I would have to agree that 'Stranded In Babylon" is right up there as a greatest album. Hard to choose.

Sabatini is a horrible human and a coward. Tells lies and half truths about a man who can no longer defend himself. Fallen Angel is a smear job. I was part of a documentary called Friends Of Larry. Watch it on CZcams for the truth.

"Why Don't You Look into Jesus" is said to be inspired by Janis Joplin, who Larry knew.
