Brooke and Jason, I have a beautiful story about snoring. My mother snores like a freight train. I swear that the house shakes with every snore. I asked my Daddy (God rest his soul) how he could sleep right beside all of that LOUD noise. He told me,”honey, that’s the most beautiful sound in the world to me. When I hear your momma snoring, I know that she is sleeping peacefully and everything is right my world “. I will never forget him smiling and telling me that. Isn’t that what true love is? Y’all have a very joy filled and blessed day! Edit: My husband’s father owned a funeral home when my husband was a child. The funeral home was the ground floor. The 2nd story of the building was their family home. Yup, they lived in the same building as the funeral home. Omg! Some of his memories about living upstairs from the funeral home are amazing. Most are just hysterically funny. Great video!
My parents had friends who owned a funeral home and also lived upstairs. Theses people had a pet bird that every time the phone rang..he would yell “ get the hearse, get the hearse”. One time he entertained some funeral attendees with his “speech”, much to the embarrassment of the funeral director.
The story about the funeral home had me in stitches I couldn’t stop laughing what a delight never going to forget this one I’m laughing as I’m commenting Thankyou !!!!❤
****🌺 It was really nice to laugh with you folks today. Thank you. I needed that laugh very badly. I lost my little dog on tues & I haven't been able to stop crying!! She was my lil soulmate, my angel & the most well behaved dog 🐕 I've ever had. I'll miss her terribly. Thanks for that much needed laughter. I needed another ray of sunshine and as it turned out, it was you two. Thank you so much.🐕🐾 RIP my Hokulea, mama's star***
so sorry for the loss of your little soul mate. I lost my 16 yr old cat and then my dog 1 yr later ..... I know how you feel but the love we had with them is unforgettable.
Your rental store story is hilarious! You two are are so well- matched, with great senses of humor and storytelling skills. You are humorists, similar to the late Jeanne Robertson. Thank you for the wonderful real-life humorus stories you share with us and make us laugh and smile. 😉😁❤❤
I've watched you guys for years, and you're the best thing on CZcams. I've seen this episode twice, and I'm glad I did because I missed the funeral home story 😂. I think I speak for everyone in saying we're glad you not called Cog Hill Funeral home. Keep on doing what you do. you're the best thing on television.
My late hubby was bi-polar & ADD & his Dr finally gave him some type of medication & he could focus much better. He also had sleep apnea & snored the paint off of the walls! He would stop breathing & had a cpap machine which was fantastic! It was wonderful for both of us, as we could both finally sleep & I didn't have to worry about him stop breathing. I am laughing like crazy at Jason's story! Funeral homes creep me out & when my hubby died, I was in shock anyway & had to handle everything by myself. Just walking into the funeral caused me to cry even harder than I was. The people there could not have been nicer & I was grateful for that.
That septic tank video was so funny! You two are a good pair! Glad you got to get the post hole digger and maybe the rain will help soften the ground so you can get all the posts set.
You may be having a bad day, but you never know how much worse of a day the other person is having so it won't hurt to give them a smile to let them know things will get better.
Replay...I watch you two all the time. Just love your videos, I could hardly keep from laughing and crying listening to Jason's funeral home story. You guys are the BEST!! I will order some coffee when you get decaf. Be blessed!!
I’m glad your C-PAP machine is working for you, Brooke. My sister has to have one but she has an odd size head and so her doctor can’t seem to find one to fit her. She tried the nose type but she always has that off her sometime during the night so that wasn’t working for her. But I heard her a few nights. She never married and I wasn’t any longer and she and I were staying in our mother’s house to take care of Mom. Her health was going downhill. Anyhow, my sister’s bedroom was on the other end of the house from mine but I heard her a few nights. Now I love to write fantasy novels and I was working on a story that contained a dragon and I was having trouble coming up with a proper sound the dragon would make when angry. My sister helped me solve that problem. And I mean it was excellent help. Now when the people in the story hear, “EEOYOOOWOWIIIKSSSHHHAAWWWOO!” loudly and rasply, they know to take cover and keep silent. Now wasn’t that nice of my sister? And you want to know something? That doesn’t wake her up. I find that fascinating. It woke me a few times, clear down the hall. 😆
Good morning to you! Jason your beard looks so much better, cooler & neater!👍 You are both doing a great job on your farm and videos. I always look forward to your next video! Have a blessed day.
Slept in this morning so I missed the live! But I am having my coffee iced this morning. That Cog Hill coffee is just as good cold as it is hot. Got to place another order! Got two bags so I’m good for now! Send us some of that rain our Texas way!
I had a similar experience. I was a bank teller and it was a Friday. The bank I worked at was an old building and rumored to have ghosts on one of the upper floors. No one I knew ever went up there. Well, this one particular Friday everyone was standing around talking after we'd secured the vault and teller safes Since the front door was locked and I had to go to the bathroom, I told one of the other tellers that I had to use the bathroom & would be right back. As I finished my potty business & stood there washing my hands, I heard a distinct click of the front door locking. I panicked 1) no cell phones in 1986, 2) I didn't have a key, & 3) I darn sure wasn't looking forward to spending the night with ghosts! 😂 So I ran to where the walk-up window was and I'm waving my arms frantically. Since that window had not been in use for many years, the speaker had been disconnected & no one would be able to hear me knocking on that very thick safety glass. I was the talk of the bank for a longgg time. So I can relate to the panic moment that Jason had!
There are different type of masks for the CPAP. I couldn't do a full face. I have a smaller one that just goes on my nose but doesn't cover my mouth. I clench my teeth so opening my mouth isn't a problem. Be careful "pillows." They honestly made my nose larger 😢. When I go to the bathroom now, I just hit the off button and and disconnect the main hose from the mask hose. I feel like an elephant but I don't have to deal with getting it all fitted again. Just a thought. Much love from Iowa ❤️❤️❤️
Sorry, I missed the live video. I forgot it was Saturday and took off early to take my dogs to the dog park. It has been a long hot streak here in New Mexico. We finally got a little rain yesterday evening. I am not use to my new Saturday routine yet. But getting to watch you two now. Love Cog Hill Family❤
Brooke I’m so glad you are finally getting proper rest. I sleep better with a little humidity; We keep a 4 quart electric pot in the bedroom on warm and we sleep like babies.
I love you both...you are so charming and kind. Life looks so good in your corner of the world! I miss living on a busy family farm when days started at sunrise and did not stop until dark.
Good Morning! Love you guys! Did the coffee toast with you, brilliant ending. I hope to make it live next time, missed it by five MI items today. Have a wonderful day!! Hugs from Gramma Owl in Washington State. 😘
Oh my stars, I had no idea why or how this pop up. But I clicked on this , and I am truly enjoying this. Both of you are absolutely delightful. I am hooked. I can't wait to see and hear more. Not sure what to expect but I'm interested in finding out more.
I'm super comforted to know you folks listen to Ryan Hall. Also, you have a sturdy storm shelter, and no big ol' trees around your (new) buildings, AND! You're up on a hill, because one of the other big problems with hurricanes is water, hence flooding.
CPAP: the first 6 months or so may be a journey. The doc may be adjusting settings and you may be trying multiple masks. But worth it so don’t give up. 💜💜💜
I work at a sleep center and am thankful you mentioned the initial transition struggle. Some do not hang in through the first few weeks because they can’t imagine getting used to it, but just hang on a bit longer and ‘click’ everything is great 💜
@@monicah4123 yep. I was ripping my mask off in my sleep every night and all the typical things but at some point after the nasal pillow mask it was like a “click”.
Brooke and Jason I just love both of you and Marycarl I have been watching you for about three yrs now,You are down to earth people and that's what I like. God has Blessed your family My favorites are Moody and the Sheriff the cute but those two are my favorites. I'm 78 years old and your family is a bright of my day. Keep up the good work. Sandy C
Gotta look at it this way, the rain makes the flowers grow and the pond fill up, keeps the grass green, cools everything down and it smells so great afterwards!
For the water spickets-Maybe get some long fiberglass poles with orange flags on them. You can loop the poles over to catch on a simple hook screwed into a post. When you turn that water on unhook the flag. When you’re done you’ll be able to look across at a distance and see if any are left on. Love❤Ya’ll
I was living in Panama City Beach when Opal hit. I am with you Brooke- after almost 3 years of ducking or running from hurricanes, I high tailed it back up north. I was a wreck from the time it was a dot we were tracking until it was done. Too many times it hurt my heart to see the devastation people endured. Just too unsettling for me.
Watching you 2 on July 29th I am laughing so much at your funeral home stories !!!!! 😂 How so very funny and true , life is crazy and loving and funny and sad isn't it . Thank you for a great hour. Both of you are very lovely people. (After this yes !! )
I love it actually Mr. Coghill your beard looks great that short… great. Also wanted to mention to Mrs. Coghill, how amazed I was at her video of catching the snake. Wow! You had me on the edge of my seat lady😳for real… 😮thank you for getting my adrenaline pumping …my Lord …good for you I would never of started even trying …I’d be so creeped out. I did not get a chance to click like or comment. The video disappeared …🥰good work and oh by the way Mary,Carl’s pigeons are gorgeous! Please do more on the pigeons. Those are some of the most beautiful birds I’ve ever seen 💕my goodness that was unbelievable. Sorry you guys were focusing on the Snake. I was eyeballing all those pretty pigeons, beautiful beautiful.
Received first bag of coffee … received Amazon order of Keurig with carafe … going to store for filters -- will have after dinner coffee with COG HILL 😃😃
Unfortunately I can’t drink coffee cause of GERDS, but I have my Chia Tea Latte. Good Morning. My goodness watching the video replay cause being on the west, ya’ll done before I wake up.
I use to snore like a freight train. I had a sleep study done and results were that I had severe sleep apnea. I was stopping my breathing 77 times an hour. Now my pulmonary doctor can monitor my breathing, and now it has gone down do 0.4 to 5 times a hour. I don't have to mess with the ramp. Every day I bring up the app to see my score and times per hour that I stopped breathing.
You're gonna love those martins when they come. We've had Martin houses by our pond for many years and we never have had mosquitoes they eat their fill of them. And they're so smart they came to our porch one time flying frantically back and forth and we decided something must be wrong and went to the pond to their houses and a baby bird had fallen out of the nest and was on the ground. We put it back inside the house and all was well. They never came to the house, only that one time for help. Love those martins!
This is probably one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time !! In fact, you guys are hilarious !! What with your Alabama accents and Jason's laugh, you had me rolling on the floor with laughter !! You just could be my new favourite channel !! How often do you post your videos on UTube, 'cause I don't want to miss one !! Lord Bless your entire family and keep us laughing !! 😂💕🇺🇲
I guess I need to get to bed earlier on Friday night so I don't miss this on Saturday mornings live. But have watched the rerun and it was a good time. I really enjoyed. Thanks!!!
It works to keep you from stopping breathing when you sleep - and it prevents you from getting that restful sleep phase that the machine helps you get to
So glad you have cpap. ❤❤ It has and will continue to help me. You and thousands of others. FYI you may be able to just detach from big hose and leave mask on. So much easier. Grands call me Nana Elephant 😅😅
Thanks Brooke, I got tears of joy in my eyes when we all had our Cog Hill Coffee toast! Can you imagine all of us together LIVE, it's like a hUg in every sip! Like the label says Kindness in a Cup, it'a true! xo xo xo hUgz from Ohio, Lee
Brooke, I used to wake up with headaches. Started on a cpap and the ramp is awesome. The first 4 hours are awesome for me. That being said I don't have headaches anymore. 😊
😂this is my 3 try to start watching. Let's see if it's the charm🤪 I did get my coffee drank with my second try to watch. It was possibly my favorite coffee. If you don't know, it's Coghill Farm Coffee 😂 Love it.
Never had a panic attack until I had to use a c pap. Every time it would get to pressure, I would wake up with a panic attack feeling like I was suffocating because i could not exhale. . Then I started having panic attacks if I even thought about the c pap or if anything got too close to my face or even a strong wind in my face. I became extremely claustrophobic, which i had never been before. I could not use the machine. It's been over ten years, and I am still claustrophobic. I still have an occasional panic attack.
My father was a Funeral Director and Licensed Embalmer. He open his Funeral home and Ambulance Service (before EMS) IN 1960. We lived upstaires over the Funeral Home for over 6 years. Did you know that EMD came into Service after Vietnam Because of all the Vietnam Vets that came home with such Life Saving Skills that EMS was Born. Someone was thinking to come up with the EMS Program. ❤ smart
funeral home stories: 1) lived behind one in a small town. Family lived in the house. Their living room was where the casket would be for visitation. I was in 1st grade and their first grade boy and I would play outside together. If we needed a drink, we had to go to my house as there was a body in the living room. His 2 high school age sisters helped their mom do hair, nails, makeup. His older brother helped drive the hearse and pick ip bodies. Definitely a family business!! 2) Worked at an alarm monitoring center. Amazing how many times after picking up a body, they would forget to disarm the system...lots of funeral homes all over the country. One night I did get a motion detector alarm from a casket room. Little nervous to call on that one. lol Just one of the directors walking through. whew. lol
Didn't think about this but with this big expansion, the dogs are going to have to also expand their guard duties. You might want to think about another donkey!
You don't need to take the entire mask off to go to the bathroom. You can leave the head gear on and just unplug the hose from the mask. Also, your CPAP unit should be set up to automatically turn off if it senses that you're disconnected, so you shouldn't need to physically turn it off.
There should be a clip on the headgear that allows you to remove the headgear quietly and then put it back on in the same tightening/positioning you had it set at. Took me awhile to figure this out.
@@carlak7468 Yes, you can do it that way as well. I sometimes just unclip one of the lower straps and slip the whole thing off, so all I need to do is slip the head gear back on and reattach that one clip. That's how I take my mask off in the morning and put it back on at night.
Hot wiring the fence top and bottom is good. We have a six foot privacy fence for our dogs, but we also have it hot wired on the top and bottom of the fence to prevent any predators from getting in and also for our dogs from getting out! The guy at the rental place must of been having a bad day and wanted to gooooo lol That story made me laugh so hard lol I had to listen to it again and I laughed even harder lol
When Brook said "Thank God we are not Cog Hill Funeral home" i about spit my coffee 😂

Thanks!!!

Great video guys
I watched on my tv and then went to my IPad to give y’all my thumbs up 👍👍 ! Enjoyed this live even tho it’s a replay.
It works to keep you from stopping breathing when you sleep - and it prevents you from getting that restful sleep phase that the machine helps you get to
Jason ALWAYS laughs. 😮
You two crack me up! You are too funny😂
My son says the weatherperson is the only one that can keep their job when they are wrong so many times. LOL..
❤ it's evening now that I started ur video. Been busy all day. ✌👍
My husband worked night shift. He had to have a fan on and tv playing. That was very hard for me to fall sleep and stayed aleep ❤
You are going to love the T post driver. It takes time to arrive, but when it does, you will be happy.
We bought ours. Not rented.
Good stuff Guys. 😃💖from Australia 💖
So glad you have cpap. ❤❤ It has and will continue to help me. You and thousands of others.
FYI you may be able to just detach from big hose and leave mask on. So much easier. Grands call me Nana Elephant 😅😅
Thanks Brooke,
I got tears of joy in my eyes when we all
had our Cog Hill Coffee toast!
Can you imagine all of us together
LIVE, it's like a hUg in every sip!
Like the label says Kindness in a Cup, it'a true!

when my husband got his CPAP, *I* slept better than I ever had. His snoring kept everyone awake.
If you don't know, it's
Coghill Farm Coffee 😂
Love it.
❤ smart
The mind is a powerful thing but the cpap is even more powerful.
Good morning sorry I'm late. (Sue Thomas) from MI. Hope yous have a blessed day.
funeral home stories: 1) lived behind one in a small town. Little nervous to call on that one. lol Just one of the directors walking through. whew. lol
Good morning from Sweden 🥰 I don’t like coffee. Am 43 and some says you don’t grow up if you don’t drink coffee. So I will never grow up 😹
❤you two are so interesting. Love the southern accent!!
Jason I’m watching on replay not sure if somebody mentioned this but on can CZcams you can bring up a fan sound and it’ll play for hours.
I laughed when I saw Lester’s video of Jason and Lester’s septic tank episode. Great video.
