The NFL have always been jealous of the City Baltimore for reasons the Glory days of the Colts in the 50s and '60s put the NFL on the map when everybody was watching college football, Johnny Unitas and the Colts personified the NFL and started everybody to gain interest in the NFL.

Let me explain something to everybody and listen well. Robert Irsay wanted to move the Colts out of Baltimore years before 1984 and the reason I know that is I am from Baltimore and was living in Salisbury,MD when they moved. When Irsay purchased the Colts from Carroll Rosenbloom, the Colts organization was not the same as far as its relationship with the city of Baltimore.
The Colt's glory days in Baltimore were done when Rosenbloom sold the team to Irsay, and to make things even worse the Colts have done nothing since they moved to Indy, 1 damn super bowl and the Ravens have been more successful than the Colts. The city of Baltimore was going to build a new stadium for the Colts and they were going to name the stadium the Baltodome and Irsay turned it down and moved the team to Indy. The officials in Indy swindled the Colts out of Baltimore and to make a long story short everybody has a price and can be bought at a price, and
as the old saying goes, money talks and bullshit walks.

Wow. Thanks for the story. NFL and owners dont care about fanbases. Sometimes I think all the moves are planned way ahead of time. I think the NFL wanted a team in Indiana and why Rosenbloom swithed with Irsay, who ran the team into the ground afterwards purposely. And I also think Model was always chosen to move to Baltimore so that one of their original in the click owners got the biggest golden parachute he could on the way out the door. Figure, who was more worthy of expansion in '95 than Baltimore? That cooke stuff was just distraction imo. No one owner is bigger than the NFL.
Either way, NFL at least did it right with the Browns deal leaving team name and history behind, especially after a team plays for a place for decades. Shouldve been the same for Baltimore. Wouldve been super weird having 12 year gap, but that is what should have happened. And speaking of another City that got screwed over, and worse than Baltimore too, I still think St. Louis every time I hear Cardinals. And can you imagine being a St. Louis football fan? They get an owner that is local and as a fan, you are think they will be there forever. Just horrible how NFL did St. Louis. Feel terrible for the Oakland people too.

After reviewing the entire history of the NFL, State of Indiana should have had a team long before '83, but the NFL should not have allowed teams to take nams and colors when they move. Especially after being in one place for decades. Indianapolis Colts makes no sense at all anyhow. Colts name is associated with all the horse farms in Maryalnd and especially the Preakness Stakes, which has been in Baltimore Maryland for 150 years.

Reading about it now, Baltimore Deserved to Lose the Colts, and why, The City of Baltimore no longer supported the team, and also, Because Baltimore was was so Stupid enough not to build a new stadium for the Colts, no wonder they moved to Indianapolis!!!!!

You have no idea what you are talking about. The drunk owner purposely ran the team into the ground and the numbers throughout their last year was not as bad as that exact narrative that was spun to justify any move.
