We need a Police Open House, like the recent Army Open House. Make it happen! 🥰
They usually have it once in a while. Hopefully soon.
Yes, there is! But is call the SPF Roadshow
Indeed
Singapore Police Force is really awesome! 😎👍🏻
Although Singapore is only a small island but their financial and economy system is transparent and strong. Singaporeans are knowledgeable, polite and hardworking. Singapore has good education system laid down by the British. Singapore is the cleanest city with lots of greens 👍👍👍👍👍 Singapore was part of Malaya but was separated from Malaya on 9/8/1965. After 57 years of independence we can see the vast difference between Singapore 🇸🇬 and Malaysia 🇲🇾 who is still struggling with political turbulence, corruptions, racism, religion and economic crisis. Malaysia failed due to the Malay pride and lack of respect for the good systems laid down by the British which was completely destroyed by their former PM Dr Mahathir and now the people and the country are paying huge price for the mistakes of one man Dr Mahathir.
Loving the symphony and composition of the wind instruments starting at 1:01:40. Lit parade!
Wow they wear kilts also. I enjoy watching the marches from even the small countries that are strong economic and polically. I pray for all the free countries of this world. May they remain strong . May God bless them always!!
48:56 haha cute. Thanks for posting this!
Awesome Police Parade! 👍🎇🎆
Seeing Asian dudes playing bagpipes is mind blowing in a very cool way.
hope future PDPs will be recorded and broadcast as well.
PDP 2024 will be shown live

Miss my PNS life.
Proud to see our Madam President Representing Equality and Harmony In Singapore and the World. Truly a representative of our Pledge.
I like how they used “On the Quarterdeck” at 5:37.

They got the Gurkha police
Went i grow up i want to be a police
Nice
Sorry for master of ceremonies. If the word "comprise" is used, there shall be no "of" following. Not the same like "consists of". For example, the land divisions comprise Central, Tanglin, Ang Mo Kio, Jurong, Clementi, Bedok & Woodlands police stations.
What rifle are they holding?
The GOH, Turn Out Guard, SOC and Gurkha Contingent are holding FN SCAR-L rifles and the Police Coast Guard is holding onto M4 carbine rifles
I want to join Singapore police from Nepal 😍
British influence on the parade good one
Indeed.
47:24 It's not Protective Command, it's Protective Security Command.
why is the imaging so cui.
eh is that the TP chiobu that pulled me over?!?!?

Host a SPF roadshow plz
Dropping the March Past in slow time was a disgrace! Please reinstate it and stop cutting corners. Bring back some drill standards.
I believe they are trying to mirror to a standard and format like NDP
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This was probably done due to timing issues; if there were fewer elements in the parade, a march past in slow and quick time would be possible.
@@jn316rc actually the timing is about the same, because as of 2014, there's still slow march for GOH, whereas for 2016, the slow march was dropped. In 2018, the Flag Party and Parade SM was included in the Parade, whereas the arms was changed from M16 for GOH/GC and MP5 for SOC and PCG from 2016 and before to FN SCAR L for GOH, SOC, GC and M4 for PCG w.e.f 2018
Fair enough. Thanks for your insights!
(Coincidentally, around the same time - not that such parades weren't around in the 2000s - the Singapore Armed Forces had perfected their practice of holding ORD parades in No. 1 uniform, all of which culminated in the NSFs slow marching out of the parade square to Auld Lang Syne. Else, there weren't many other opportunities for the average NSF to do the slow march to begin with.)
(The ORD parades were introduced to Transport Formation circa 2015, when I was doing my NS.)
What is the piece played for the SPF200 salute?
Its an original composition

anyone else hear 1 check 1? or is it just me?
jai gorkha jai gorkha
Hmm I cant help but compare both our Police and army's marching procedure is quite similar..
Pretty sure it's nearly exactly the same other than for the flagbearers
all uniformed services have the same drill procedure
苏格兰军乐曲
6:00 They don't refer to their flags as colours? Interesting
The Flags were not consecrated and presented by the President. Colours were consecrated by religious leaders and presented by the President
Any idea if consecration is an SAF-exclusive practice? Or SPF just chooses not to do it?
@@sagi271190 it's for Colours. Colours and Flags are different.
Colours is a term used by the army and the colours are usually symbols of their departments, so in police you cant use the term colours but rather flags, also here there isn't any colours, the flag party is just Singapore flags
got chai at 1:11:22
Police are employed or been drafted as National Service. Do a part to defence against crimes, secret society drugs, vices etc. But the prison system is of doubt released ex-convict committed, less crimes but MORE serious , public fights resulted people died.
So low profile event. I didn't even know it had happened
Was the public allowed or just police?
Police & invited guests only.
@@HermitQuack who r u? How u Know?
@@SG6298G it's standard practice for many years, for security reasons.
This year is only opened to Police Officers, retirees and VVIPs.
@@typicaldrum what’s vvip?
Quite sad to see how the marching of today's SPF, not kilat!
When SPF will have helicopters? 🤭 🤭
sia la... why got army commando come this parade sia? para-military?
That would be the Special Operations Command.
@@jn316rc including the gurkhas
@@abhishek9493 gurkhas have their own hat, not red berets
@@ahmadsolehyn295 yea I know I didn't say anything about hats or berets
Where are the SSB officers. They always raid nightspots and bring in tattoo guys/suspected gang members. They deserve award too. To me they are the best in SPF. Hehe would love to join SSB someday too.
Uhh you know they sometimes need to go undercover and infiltrate gangs right? You think exposing their identities online is a good idea? If you so dumb, better don't join lol
show u SSB officer then the SSB officer no need go do undercover work alr HAHHAHA
Oh really huh 🤔😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣
Hilarious to see police outrider wearing a face mask on a motorcycle!!
should make a special mention of the Battle of Little India...................whereby the Police FARCE was routed by the rioters...............LOL
Wayang parade
Omg is is like NDP
54:39 You guys aren’t celebrating safety and crime prevention! This is just a glorification of Tyranny.
Then go alone
SDIG ගුටිකාලා දිව්වා මොන අබිමානයද පොලිසිය මඩපුවක් වලක්

Police so armed to the teeth for such a small and non firearm society.. overkill?
Yeah that’s true indeed and indefinitely
@@albertpang102 its concerning of u ask me.. further knowing our gov selling equipment to the Junta currently against its own people..very worrying.
No firearm but have you seen how insane some of the people here can get
@@breadiztasty A pistol is enough... why all these militarized sophisticated weapons? U need a bazooka to handle insane people?
@@horologyenthusiast8523 oh yes, because a pistol is going to stop a riot, an unruly crowd, or other heavily armed enemies, what are you going to shoot at every single one of them? You got that many bullets meh
till now I still don't understand why do Gurkhas still serving our country although yeah we know abt Nepal history but still why do un local involved with it
As a neutral force in case racial riot local police officer biased to their own racial
They act as bodyguards to vvip and also guard sensitive installations. So probably better to trust an independent outsider than local
You will know this if racial riot happens in Singapore
Bet u a buck u will support your own race if there was to be a racial riot and u will get the answer why gurkhas are needed
Yawn..
It’s called Pride and Pomp. Only some uncultured as you wouldn’t understand.
Nampak lembik polis SG 🤣🤣🤣 ganas lg polis malaysia
Itulah adab orang Malaysia. Mana tahu menghormati orang. Cuma tahu mengutuk sahaja. Memalukan.
Aku orang Malaysia tapi masih hormat polis Singapura. Kita Malaysia jangan jadi biadap…
@@qwertypoet2386 p mampos lah dgn adab ko 🤣🤣🤣

I find it very sad that many Singaporean Chinese no longer speak Chinese at all. Many of them even gave up traditional Chinese culture. In this regard, Malaysian Chinese are much better.
What do you mean by speaking “Chinese”? There’s no such language.
@@IsaacRizard With all due respect, when the Chinese started to communicate in Chinese, your ancestors should still be on the trees.
@@zhaolalala476 Still you don't understand, there is no such language. Chinese never refers to any language or race. So, educate yourself because your ancestors must be crying in pain for your ignorance and damn, you're good in insulting people. Perhaps, that's part of Chinese traditional culture.
