Sir, we pay 2.3L fee for our daughter. She studies in a "premium" school in Bangalore. When I went for an event I saw that the fan was not working, the door is always sealed shut so the noise doesn't disturb anyone and the windows have been covered so that light doesn't interfere with projector. Sir andar 10 min baithna mushkil ho gaya. After that I made much noise on parents group but not a single parent agreed, they said kids are preparing for real life 😢. The school support said maam we will fix the fan. Till the end of school year they did not fix the fan.
Most of the money that you pay will be eaten by Principle. Teachers get like 30k salary. Please teach you kids valuable lessons instead of relying on schools. They don't care much about your children's future.

I'm a final year medical student in UP. I finished my schooling from a govt school paying few hundred Rs fee for 6 months. In my batch many of my batchmates have paid upto 1.5 lakh/year school fee. And still i'm doing better than almost 90% of them in my college. 😅 And talking about school education almost all of us had to prepare 1-2 year for medical entrance after our school. I still don't understand what they were paying for this staggering amount in the school.

During the day of performance All small childrens were kept standing for more than 2hrs. All the students told to their teachers.. Our legs r paining... But they were kept standing.. No one was allowed to sit even for a minute. The next day all the children's had too much leg pain extremely tired... The reality of so called rich schools n great boards.. In so many more higher fees school...its only abt high fees.. Koi smartness nahi hoti hain.. I have seen some in std 9th 10th.. She could not take it and ended her life by jumping from a building. This is a wake up call what kind of pressure society is doing on this kids!

There are pre schools Jo basement main hi khule huye hain. Toddlers are spending 4-6 hours there. They are so young they can't even tell their parents if they are uncomfortable. Pata nahi parents kya soch kar daal dete hain.
This is so true... have personally experienced this with one of the premium schools in noida... my child was in class 2, climbing three storeys each day with a huge bag... going to lonely basement for activities etc etc... and I realized how differently schools abroad approach all these issues ... with utmost safety practices

Indian parents are too obsessed with homework and tests and too little obsessed with safety and security issues. Not just basements; are there multiple exits or only one exit; cctvs working or not; are fire extinguishers working ; do fire drills and emergency evacuation drills practiced in school; parents feel scared to ask these questions.
This is very true Sir. In my child's school, LKG and nursery section was on ground floor and was neatly kept and decorated, which parents could see. But UKG was in basement which many of the parents weren't aware of and they weren't allowed there. When we realised this, most of the parents wrote emails to the management and kind of protested. Then they had to shift classes to higher floors. But the library was shifted to basement which was rarely used by higher grade students.
I tell my son to ignore practically everything that the teacher says and concentrate on whatever he likes. School is mainly to learn social skills with other kids, sports, some math that's pretty much. Most other activities are for teachers to show progress to the management and doesn't benefit kids at all. My child hates art, craft, dance etc and the teacher insists it is most needed - i told her we don't want it

Indian parents are too obsessed with homework and tests and too little obsessed with safety and security issues. Not just basements; are there multiple exits or only one exit; cctvs working or not; are fire extinguishers working ; do fire drills and emergency evacuation drills practiced in school; parents feel scared to ask these questions.
This is very true Sir. In my child's school, LKG and nursery section was on ground floor and was neatly kept and decorated, which parents could see. But UKG was in basement which many of the parents weren't aware of and they weren't allowed there. When we realised this, most of the parents wrote emails to the management and kind of protested. Then they had to shift classes to higher floors. But the library was shifted to basement which was rarely used by higher grade students.

I tell my son to ignore practically everything that the teacher says and concentrate on whatever he likes. School is mainly to learn social skills with other kids, sports, some math that's pretty much. Most other activities are for teachers to show progress to the management and doesn't benefit kids at all. My child hates art, craft, dance etc and the teacher insists it is most needed - i told her we don't want it

Govt schools are the best... one day people will realise... sadly the govt also dosen't care for children or teachers and that's why indirectly promoting private schools ... that is why parents need to educate themselves and understand that private schools are actually mafias...
