- If you are looking for another great product to add to your garden or are looking to find some "cheap crop insurance" check out this video Matt put together about gardening with silica.
Silicon is the most abundant element in the earth's crust so you should definitely understand how to use is and what it can do for your garden.
All of the products featured in this video can be purchased from us online at www.4hydroponics.com with tax-free nutrient purchases and free shipping for most orders over $250.

can I use the Dutch masters silica in soil for my tomatoes
With it being 5.8 pH the rhinoskin, will this still affectivily knock out certain nutrients? Some clarity on this would b great thank you
I use protekt and love it so far but thinking of switching to heavy 16 prime? Anyone tried it?
Cool
Hi, I have a question, would houseplants benefit from silica? I have alocasias and calatheas and wonder if they'll benefit from it. If so, how much per gallon of water? Also, can we mix it with houseplant fertilizer? Thanks!
I use recycle sil with my coco.
its my 6 video in a road that I see, What is the name of the reggae song? and very good speeches and tips that helps everyone!! Thanks for that!
August Burns Red - Dangerous
got some for 14bux from blue planet nutrients
are the higher end products featuring Salicylic acid? or did i mis-hear?
Bloom siica is the thickest stuff I used 1ml per gallon
Dutch Master has monosicilic acid though, which is different from the potassium silicate in the majority of them, no?
Yup. Won't affect ph
I was given a few hundred pounds of silica sand to use in my outdoor Garden is that good for the plants
Do u use rhino skin first then as it says add to your nutrient solution implying that u use it last? Can u confirm I use this brand first. Thank you
Monosilicic. Falisitor.
Badass shit
What's up Matt, I have an odd question. What is the CES Bulletproof Si smell like? lol. I have a bottle but it sort of smell like those ammonia sticks that you put under someones nose to wake them up. I had a bottle of Uncle Johns that smelled like that but I threw it away because it usually smells sweet. I don't know what the Bulletproof is suppose to smell like though. Is my bottle bad? I haven't been using it.
Anyways cheers, I always dig your videos
Rhino skin does not affect the ph!
When adding ro water to a half filled reservoir it turns couldy is it cause of the silica and is it ok to use? Thanks
Clouding means there is a chemical reaction occurring. Either too much is being used, or it wasn’t added as the first ingredient to your RO.
how much silica blast would you add per gallon of water?
Am no expert but just started using at quater strength as foliar feed only no soil drench
If you're growing in soil, just ad vermiculite instead of these silica liquids, then you have all the silica you need and a better soil structure
Yea I use a 50% peat 50% vermiculite lime and pelletized gypsum
Vermiculite holds a lot of water though. I would recomend (in microbe-rich soil grow) rice hulls and horsetail dust (or watering with horsetail extract). Both contain Silicic Acid. In fact, horstail has the highest Si content of all plants, 2-5% pure Si in a fresh plant. Btw, rice hulls are better for aeration than perlite. They're light, hydrophobic and don't take up physical space.
Aloe Vera in your bubble tea🤙🤙
Would you , please, explain , what does it mean "silica comes firs"? You put it first into the water? Thanks!
Yes. First into the water, mix it and then let it rest for about an hour
Should silica be used in veg and flower? Or just veg ?
I use it from start to finish. My plants have never been healthier.
So when i add my silica 1st do i ph my water then or after i add all nutrients?
afterwards
What do you can say me about diatomaceous earth? That are a natural product with 40% of silica
It’s great. I always use 3-5% DE in the soil. It retains 10x more water than any other soil amendment and is 90% silica, not 40. It also has trace minerals. But, It’s pH is around 8 so that’s it’s only handicap.
Can we Ph down our solution in order to balance the effect (ph up) of the potassium silica? I would like to keep it at 5.8-5.9 and benefit from the silica. Thx!
yes u can
can use hydroponic & aquaponic too?
Mr.Stacky Vertical Planter & Hydroponic yes
do u use rhino skin during veg?
2 weeks before flower have strong trees
NPK'S SILICA IS PRICEY BUT IT IS PH NEUTRAL
I use Dyna Gro versus any other product and I kind of tweaked it a little bit I did not listen to any rules I defied everything about growing I can show you a humongous buds I have a bird that I'm holding is 2 ft tall 10 inches wide I'm not bragging I'm dyna-gro but what I'm saying is it is a very good product dyna-gro was the only product was able to handle the harsh things that I did to the product as well as feeding it to the plants
Is it possible to "overdose" your plants on Silica?
Not on silica but the K part of this product can lock out your N if you use too much.
Anyone ever use Power Si?
Never heard of it. Does it work well?
Yes I used both power si veg and flower they are very pricey but great results
That beard tho, any beard boosters I can buy?
Testosterone boosters.
Potsquatch is making a beard oil!
Is salicic acid the same as salicylic acid?
Salicic acid doesn't exist lol. If you meant Silicic Acid (= the only form of [Si] absorbable by plants) than yes, it's different. However, Salicylic acid is also beneficial to plants - FOLIAR ONLY, 20-30 mg/L once per week.
AgroMagen Si-Tech monosilicic acid
Rhino skin does not affect the ph!
@Chand Bellur I love Rhino Skin 😀
The Advanced Nutrients site says to let it sit for 2 hours, which I also do.
Grow-Genius is next generation silicon. 40% mono-silicic acid, Ultra fast acting and pH neutral
Silicas in the Potassic form are a waste of money in my experience. Takes too early to become properly available for the plants!
recyclesil all day baby
