I actually wish they'd go by Salt Lake City instead of Utah.

Yes, the same if the Miller group is awarded an MLB team. The state wants the name. I am guessing to get the name out there for tourism purposes.
If you include the whole state and not just a city. You tend to make a whole lot more money.

I'm partial to submitting a new entry the Utah Stormin Mormons myself😄 but I'd go with the Yeti as a strong second.
Of those options, the 3 "finalist" options will be "Outlaws" "Mammoth" and "Yeti". Yeti will likely win the vote, Mammoth may be second but 2nd and 3rd will be close, Outlaws might be discriminated against for its association with illegal behaviors. That being said Outlaws is the best as far as seeming badass. Yeti is best for family marketing/mascot. Mammoth should be best for all those reasons plus educational factors but won't have the same support as Yeti.

Also a name that I was thinking of for the NHL team in Utah. "Utah Saints" has a kinda ring to it, and I am quite surprised hasn't even been thought of with regards to putting in the names to vote on.
