In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. I can't believe people throw away bikes! When I was a kid I could only dream of having a bike. I bought a used one when I was 12 for $15.

You know when you hear the intense background music starting up that the struggle has begun. Lol! Oh Yeah, BOAS! 😆
Save them to anchor your canopies. I run a rope on each corner and put sand/shot bags at the end of each rope. At a recent flea market a gust of wind came. Flipped a bunch of tents. Min didn’t flip. It just slid across the pavement.

We lost our very much loved 20 year old cat two weeks ago. I’m still teary but knowing he’s out of pain and remembering all the years he was a much loved and important family member-the years he gave us-is helping a bit each day. My heart hurts for you. Great load Mike. You're moving around, the camera moves towards what your facing. I move the other way, thinking that I can see around the side (lol). All I'm doing is getting myself dizzy. When you're in a dumpster and particles and dust is flying. I find myself holding my breath Mike! Lol ! You get me ( maybe others) so into what your doing. That we think that we are there too. But, I enjoy all this scraping. You're great at it! Thanks. It's a fix that we look forward to. This is the only kind of fix, that I get. And I totally enjoy it. Sometimes I'm telling you antique shop Mike antique shop! And you can't hear me. Oh! Well.
Wow! What a fun ride to watch today, thanks. My neighbor got a free pc for his 15 yr old son. It was only a few years old but it "buzzed" and would lock up and they were trying to see if they could fix the buzz. I knew right away what it was. I was in my basement and had that kid run upstairs and bring down a can of my canned air. I took off the cover while he was doing that. I took off that aluminum metal thingamabob and fun covering the processor. I showed them. It looked like someone had a dark brown coffee filter over it. I got out my shop vac and sucked that all up. We used the canned air to blow off that fan really good and the insides. We waited about 10 minutes just to make sure it was dry from using the canned air. It booted right back up and worked fast. I told them that the owner must have been a chain smoker and maybe had a pet for all that hair and dust to build up like a coffee filter. The next day he said it was working like a dream. I had a 40 inch flat panel in the basement I never used. I gave it to him to hook up for a monitor instead of that older 19 inch. So, that was my good deed earlier this year. It made that kids day.
Scrapping like Mike does to resell or even donate stuff is absolutely awesome. A few do it but not many. I wish I could help a lot more but I have COPD and can't do much unless it improves. You bring the outside world in, thanks for the video.

Those square things with the handle on them looks like the weights that these guys used to test out the elevators that they replaced in a building where I worked. Only there were alot more of them.

11:57 Keep them. They are weights for a pop up canopy. Tie the corners down to keep your canopy from blowing away on breezy days. If it's really windy you're still going to have to put stakes down or forget using your canopy. 13:55 Hey Mike, didn't you just pick up an appliance dolly at the house with the chairs?

Those heavy weights can be used for glue-ups in woodworking. I have several similar to those I use all the time where I don't have clamps deep enough.
Pro-tip: Use the larger emptied fridge to fill up with smaller items.
