  • At only $6,000, this may be the best 4x8 CNC router table for the price. Here's the Zenbot website: www.zenbotcnc.com/
I've owned three of these machines and they have performed exceptionally well for only being $6,000. I may even buy another one if sales continue to grow.

Not related to this video, just wanted to say thank you for your videos and keep going! I stumbled onto your videos discussing what you have done and the things you would change in your business. It's awesome to see someone candidly discussing the ups and downs of these industries and offering advice. I'm just getting started in 3D printing, and the advice you offer in very appreciated.

Finally! Thanks for the review. It's the first one I've found for the newer Zenbots. I've really been looking hard at this setup. I would note on thing. Currently the Zenbots have a ball screw on the Z axis, not a lead screw.
One concern that I have are the belts. It's the old debate, rack and pinion vs. belt on the Y axis. Don't know why they don't just go ahead and put a ball screw on the X axis though. But you've indirectly answered that question to a degree because this isn't your first rodeo with a large format belt driven machine and you didn't even mention that as an issue.
Zenbot offers the 4896 Complete Package that includes a 110v air cooled spindle or an optional 220v for $150 more. Was that available when you purchased yours? If so why didn't you pick that setup. Frankly, it's the one I would chose because the price diff between Pro with add ons and the Pro Complete is negligible.
That dust boot looks really good. Did you print that?

Hey, thanks for the comment. The complete package wasn’t an option when I first ordered but I think it’s great that they offer it now. Yeah, dust boot is 3D printed. Couldn’t find one for this spindle that I liked.

Did you have to buy the vacuum and venting system separately? Does it vent out well with low to no odor?

Do you use the CNC instead of the laser cutter for the cutouts ( adapter holes ) when it comes to the largers acrylic windows? From what I can tell, the Glowforge will be to small for the bigger ones :)
    Great content!

You are correct. I used to use the Glowforge for the cutout but now most of my orders are very large panels so I use the CNC for everything.

Where did you get the dust boot?
