I just bought a new 2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I like the GMC and Chevy 2500 ZR2, but for the bang for the buck, the Ram 2500 Power Wagon is a lot cheaper. Paid $67K for a $83K MSRP truck.. Good Luck with the sale of the truck that was ordered. It will sell.
They are a lot cheaper. Also has half the payload of a Ford or GM.

Great choice! A PW is still the offroad champ, despite all of the new trucks. I know people love to say "it doesn't have payload", but judging by how many bro-dozer 2500s running around empty with huge 37/38" tires and lifts, does it really matter? I live in the backwoods and PW fits my needs perfectly.
Can very cost effectively add after market rear air bags to the PW and get back that payload and towing without losing any of its offroad capabilities.

I traded off my '24 denali ultimate.... Couldn't stand sitting on a seat that felt like 2x4's anymore. Ford's for me until they change the seats and add back power adjustable pedals/steering wheel. Cheers JB!
I test drove a 2023 F350 Lariat Tremor, and a 2024 Chevy 3500 LTZ back to back. Barely a difference in the overall ride quality (I think the IFS vs SFA thing is overblown) but the seats in the Chevy were HORRIBLE. Most uncomfortable vehicle seat I've ever sat in. Conversely, the Ford seats were the second most comfortable vehicle seats I've ever sat in. Most other things being relatively the same, I'll take the Ford with those seats every time.
I know right!!! The seats are awful. I don't know how they sell as many units as they do. Even the yukons and burbans have the same seats. My wife was always GM 100%. Swapped her to a expedition about 4 years ago. She says she would never go back.@@SliderFury1
I wonder if some are better than others. I test drove an Ultimate and thought the seats looked and felt great.
GM seats have been terrible on trucks after the GMT 800 trucks. The seats have short cushions and as hard as a rock.
@@MZZHZZWZZ my Ultimate seats are AMAZING! I also just came from a 22 Ford Platinum. The seats were softer by a small margin, but I like the ultimate seats better

Yeah its also a miracle to get a loan for 100k right now. Load them up. Ill be ready in 2025 or 2039. I'm definitely going with a gmc. probably just a work truck or maybe a loaded up sle.

I just got my At4x AEV. My sunroof shade is not suede like the rest of the headliner. Are you able to confirm that’s how it comes? I feel like it looks odd being a different material. This must be an error at the factory. Hoping this is how they all come.
Have you had any mechanical or engine/trans issues with your 2024 2500? I'm seeing several videos about random oil cooler leaks and DEF sensor issues so just curious about your experience.

How do you not lose your tail buying them then selling not long after? They depreciate so bad. I bought in late October 2023 a 23 Trail Boss 1500 Custom. $56k; Today it has a little over 3000 miles. I looked what it was worth on trade and the blue book showed like $46-48k. That is horrible.
If you finance expensive vehicles and sell within first couple of years then yes 9 out of 10 times you will take financial hit. In that case leasing shines .
Because you bought a run of the mill 1500, not a diesel HD truck.
@@CornFed_3 They all depreciate badly and all are run of the mill trucks. Might take longer to get but they are all the same engine and general truck other than what you spec on color and options. 2500 AT4X or AT4 are all the same just ridiculously expensive. They don't hold value because you paid a lot. They all ware out the same.
@@bradh7472, right, but diesels are far more valuable for longer than some 1500 mall cruiser. The depreciation graph on a 1500 versus a 2500/3500 would look vastly different. That’s the point.

I’ve never owned a truck before until the last week in December of 2023. I bought a used 2022 F250 6.7L crew cab SRW XLT with 40400 miles on it. I paid $45,500 and after my trade in and taxes/fees, I wrote a check for $43,500. While I luv my “new” truck I can’t understand consumers wanting to spend 90k plus for a nicely appointed 3/4 ton truck. Complete waste of money.
I've never owned a truck before either but bought a '18 RAM 3500 diesel from a private seller this week for 40k. More miles than yours at 88k but that was about as low a price as I could find. By the time I paid the taxes and crazy title here in CA plus my own financing at 8.24 with stellar credit, it's still an expensive purchase. I priced out new ones at minimum 69k and even with lower interest and a down over 10k it was over $1k a month for 72 months. WTH? I don't like them that much. Sounds like you got a really nice deal.
@@bdlii as long as this 6.7 PS stays out of the shop I got a good deal 😅 I bought from a used car dealer. It had no accidents, one owner, and was very clean. My XLT is the very base version of the XLT lineup. IE I have no power mirrors or seats etc but it has everything I need to pull my 26’ travel trailer. I actually purchased the travel trailer before the F250. I was going to pull the travel trailer with a Tacoma my mother in law owns. It’s a nice 2020 with tow package and my trailer is 5900lbs wet with batteries maybe 6000. So the Taco would have been at is very limit. Why did you decide to purchase your Ram diesel?
Edit: The original price was $47,700 and 455 was the lowest they would go. I had a feeling they were really near their absolute bottom.

@@DanYoung-wu8pb I had an upper pan gasket leak at 94k covered under warranty at 94k. Which was a pretty big job they had to lift cab and motor. Other than that it’s been good
