love it when world athletics only shows the second half of a 100m race, quality content
100m highlights!
yeah they been doing this for ages now
half the race and still time for the commentator to demonstrate complete ineptitude.
44 second video and STILL not enough to show 9.79 seconds of race lmao
Trash coverage
Omanyala the myth the legend. He is gonna be a force to reckon with this year.I see him running below 9.75 this season for sure.He is inspiring many athletes in Kenya to turn to sprinting🇰🇪💪
Was disappointing to have him disqualified but rules are rules
Yea it's 2 things some of us carribean people are looking forward to is Africa coming forward in sprinting and winning the football world cup well done omenyala
@@chrisgakuru5002 actually he was reinstated
Omanyala actually lost time by veering into Tebogo's lane - the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. It looks like he was playing with Tebogo , and they both smiled about it. I'm happy Tebogo was forced to run through the line. I know it's early in the season , and sprinters like to have fun , but clowning caused Omanyala to drift out of his lane. I wish these athletes would run through the finish line , and save their celebrations for the victory lap .
There is no straight line..lol!
@@apachemimi9762 He’s saying that by Omanyala slightly veering into Tebogo’s lane, he ran a longer distance than he actually had to and could’ve ran faster which is true
he stepped into Tebogo's lane
He definitely did..
I saw that too😂
He already passed Tobogo so he can't get DQ. Same thing for 200m is a runner slightly gets on another runners lane, it isn't a Dq so far as that runner is completely past the other runner. The only time it's an automatic DQ is in the relays
Unless he interferes with the other runner it doesn't matter if it's on a straightaway
He stepped out his lane. So is it true he cannot be disqualified ? Never knew that.
He's definetly changing the narrative for Kenyan sprinters. Way to go big man🎉
Ferdinand Omanyala got people coming up with conspiracy theories 👀 🇰🇪
Kenya we have a Legend
They’re just going to keep on hating on him just because he isn’t American or Jamaican 😂
i think considering that Kenya has had loads of busted athletes lately, its a genuine concern. im not on the bandwagon but i get 'it'.
@@zkcfactory4840 no, the americans accused the jamaicans also.
Delusional. He was DQ'd. Check the most recent news on this. Search 'Omanyala Disqualified Gaborone'.
Technical Rule 17.3.1 (163.3(a)) on lane infringement reads:
"This rule applies to athletes running on the bend in a laned race. If an athlete steps on the lane line on their left or runs into the lane on their inside they will be disqualified for shortening the distance of the race. If an athlete runs into the inside lane or touches the lane line in the straight, no report will be made unless they obstruct another athlete as they have not affected the distance to be covered in the race.
How do supposed athlrtics fans not know this lol
@@BensleyDRAKE They're not real fans. They're bandwagoners..
@@BensleyDRAKE i know it and i ran the 100 in my youth, for me is obvious he is obstructing tebogo to accelerate, not on purpose of course, but rules are rules. Wasnt that easy call since he was disqualified and the restored. I think he should be dq is obvious tebogo is looking and telling him not to cross and that alone just tell you he was impeding his contender maxium performance
He used to be a rugby player ,its common for players to have big bodies and sprint real fast
He reminds me of a football player Adama Traore he's also as big and muscular as him but super fast.
@@robinparker5731 yeah that type of build
Bro that build doesn't come from rugby alone...
@@StarryNightGazing he's been in the gym ,he trains with other players too from around the continent they can testify the work he puts in the track and gym
Any highlights I can find of him playing rugby?
Let's go Omanyala! Proudly Kenyan. ♥️♥️🇰🇪🇰🇪
Wow. Omanyala runs really fast for person with his muscle mass. Tebogos form is so smooth like his not even trying. Wow.
yes, no one has ever ran fast with a bit of muscle. i cant think of anyone who is muscular that ran fast. its never happened. its like being strong has nothing to do with speed.
@@timn4481 Ben Johnson
@@bornfocused82 sarcasm
Man hasn’t seen asafa powell
@@bornfocused82 Or Donovan Bailey back in '96. What an era that was. !
For those wondering, Omanyala stepping into Tebogo’s lane is not a dq in this instance. If he impeded Tebogo’s race then he would be disqualified but he was well clear of him. The only time stepping out of your lane is an automatic disqualification is when you do it on the inside of a bend.
And he's actually running slightly further because he's moving away from the inside lane.
He was dq’d
A later video did report Omanyala was disqualified. It's always unfortunate to see that happen especially after such a good run.
@@michaeldeierhoi4096 bro, what report did you see that in…
@@Ghoster311 yup, just saw that he was DQ'd.
He's running form is very relaxed and open for a big guy
As Kenyan i got to Congratulate Tebogo too he's the future 🇰🇪❤️ 🇧🇼
Tebogo and Omanyala are great for African sprinting
Until championship time lol
Our very own.. congratulations 👏
Omanyala smiling at Tebogos was sweet, Omanyala running Tebogos lane, grounds for disqualification if deemed an impediment to Tebogos.
hes even slowing down at the end..amazing atlete
Tebago young man to watch ❤🇰🇪
I’m hoping Oman. Put together a good championship race , peak, and take the medal this year.
As long as he keeps this form no one is stopping him he's the fastest man in the world at the moment not winning a medal is more unlikely than winning one he's in the zone
I came here to look for those who say, "he runs fast races only in Nairobi" insinuating a helping hand by the officials. This is now NAIROBI. Mko wapi mandugu?
Thanks for sharing this 😮😮
Watching from Janice hospital Nairobi, no less its just winning !!!!!!!!winning!!!!!! winning!!!!!! go Kenya Go Go
Congratulations omanyala, never give up keep going
Omanyala stepped on the line due to excitement
Lol
That should be a dq
@@RM-yf2lu Only counts if he interfered with the other athlete. He was way ahead.
@@snavenia9529 regardless but he stepped on the line almost to the other lane
@@snavenia9529 HE was DQ'd. Check the most recent news on this. Search 'Omanyala Disqualified Gaborone'.
When we adjust for BOTH wind and altitude, his time comes to 9.908 secs.
disqualified . He crossed the line
Very impressive indeed! I did also notice that Tebogo wasn’t pushing himself too hard?
Last time I checked, over stepping lanes results in disqualification
When the commentator says the race had a very very quick start but you don't know what she's talking about...🤣
Tebogo looks like a force in store... Congratulations Omanyala!
Fred kerley have to watch out this guy...
They raced before on the same track it was a close race
Fred is old and out...
@@itgamingke It wasn't the same track. Omanyala beat Kerley in Kenya. This race was in Botswana.
It’s funny cause Omanyala has smoked Kerley in 2022, and now they’re most likely going to be racing again in Nairobi, exactly where it happened last year
@@zkcfactory4840 True but Omanyala has yet to prove he can run fast outside Africa though.
Whenever African's win,, i am the Happiest Fun of them..congratulations Omanyala, Congratulations Tebogo.. we depend on u guyz
There was a time, when Kenya known for only middle and long-distance running. But in last few years, they become the power house in sprinting, javelin and so on. May God bless these hard working atheletes.
I've seen video of Daniel Bailey hitting Ryan Bailey's hand in the London Olympics semi-final. The way he swings his arms, he has to stay centered in his lane to not be a menace to others!
Where is the full race?
Whats tebogo time ?
We all proud Africans
Amazing Bodybuilding! 🤯💪
This will be Africa's century
All Botswana's be like he stepped into our tebogos lane. Its like i failed the exam coz my pencil was not sharp enough 😂
They going to act like , he didn't DQ himself with the slow replay ! Lol
African power🔥🔥🙌
He stepped over the line.
why this is not live😭
hope he can run these times wen it matters...
African beast 👑 just look that power 💪
congratulations omanyala our next Maurice creen 2000 Olympics games
0:21 AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING THAT OMANYALA WENT OUT OF HIS LANE
This guy was competing with Tebogo for lane 5. They were basically running from the same lane
Omanyala is actually ben johnson 80s muscle potency and anabolic?
Damn, 🇰🇪 just needs a champion caliber 110H and a 400H athlete to wash ALL the running events
😂
Omanyala should be disqualified for stepping into Tebogo’s lane.
I do love tebogo
Stepped on Tebogo lane and windy time with 2.3 yeah great 😂😂😂
Bro stepped into his lane😅
Hey why wasnt it called he ran out his lane he is fast i am glad to see all these meets need more long jumps high jumps as well but call the races fair
9.7 this guy is flash
was Tebogo jogging or competing ?
soon this man will demolish Usain Bolt record
DQ CROSS IN LANE 😂😂😂
Our Own❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well done omanyala
What shoes does Omanyala wear
Why aren't we we seeing all of a 9.7second race!?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Should be D’q for stepping in young boy lane
Tebogo he next husain bolt 😎
He didn't cross his foot was on the line tho people like to hate
He got disqualified unfortunately.
@@makelovenotwar9941 Nairobi comeback gonna be spicy
He'll still beat Tebogo again n again until they'll have nothing to talk about
No, absolutely in the other lane.
the wind/altitude calculator says 9.90! Not bad for the opening outdoor season. I still think Ferdinand should step out of his comfort zone and go training in Europe at sea level now.
If he can take some pain NFL running back status could be in his future
His arms are wide, he looks around while running. Imagine what he could do if he didnt wow
Omanyala ran into Tebogo lane
Looks like Ben Johnson
Tebogo still looks like he isnt trying very hard
thats just his style.
That should have been a DQ
King Fu Kenny is looking stronger…I would keep an eye on him as the sleeper favorite of this years Diamond League
“KUNG FU”
He stepped onto Tebogo lane towards finish line
Hopefully tebogo can start running through the line with no showboating
I feel if you're going to showboat then you should also win lol
@@adiroots IKR
Not wind legal, and i presume at altitude. Whatever, this dude is fast. Roy b Cape town, south africa 🇿🇦
He crossed over into the other lane. I guess it doesn't matter.
Did he step onto his opponent's lane?😮 or on the line?
This guys a beast wow 👏🏾 God did!
just curious, is it not a disqualification to step on the margin racing line ...?
Solo se arrechi danno all'avversario
Yes he stepped off his lane automatic disqualification right there
Only on a curve or when impeding. None of that happened because he was far ahead so no DQ.
He is not on steroids...
Ran into the next lane. Should be a DQ.
Wind plus altitude.
yes, this is really a high 9.9x ...for still conditions at sea level. nothing really amazing except that im surprised Tebogo was so slow considering the conditions.
Great time, great speed, but also an obvious lane violation. Should have been DQ'd.
But he step on Tebogo's 😮
Botswana 🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🫶
He actually went into the other lane which is a disqualification
Tebogo was not flat out.. can tell.. he didtn expect someone to be ahead and by the time he for serious he was lwft for dead
he was flat out. he always looks like he's running a 90%. thats his style.
He long qualified for world championships in 100m ,he was looking forward to the 200m qualification
He stepped on Tebogo'd line😢
No obstruction or infringement on distance
He ran in both lanes .disqualifying is necessary
Was it reconsidered later
Yikes! Huge lane violation! 😂
Africa is coming hard...
9.87 No Wind, 9.79 with +2.0... Impressive.
no. 9.79 with +2.0 is well into the 9.90s when converted. its about 9.91 if you use the converter most people use, but if you've been watching and paying attention for many years, that converter is conservative. this is more like a 9.95 for zero wind.
The way it has been put, sounds like the wind was only on Omanyala not the other athletes
@J It's there in the beginning of the sentence...
@@crecencianyanga2606 Wich part of impressive you didn't understood?
@@timn4481 I guess we can accept 9.90 with no wind if we consider the altitude factor of Gaborone's 1014 meters height.
The same way we can accept 9.95 at sea level.
Wow must be disqualified due to Tebogo lane stretch
Tebogo got humbled, that's good for him.
He has got some serious competition.
What competition ?😂 He still young compared to that line up ,he is a teenager and far from reaching his peak ,chill bro ,the best is yet to come records will be broken
That is a teen bro...
