Additional Info: There were just a few of the 1944 Steel Pennies ever minted and all would have been released by error into the coin supply. No matter what the cause these coins are selling for just under $100,000 dollars according to our resources. Make sure the coin you have or are buying is not a zinc coated copper penny ripoff.

I have a 1944 wheat penny error I believe cause the r in liberty is moved and the first 4 in the date is covered by something, and on the back side the first t in states the line on top is pointed west not north and south. It's got a lot of Mark's on It but I think it's still worth something. Can someone explain that to me, and tell me what It might be worth

I have the 1944 penny with s over d, weight 3.05 g. Don't stick. I have alot different one, just taken time to go thru. I have one 1972 it was stamps off guard, both side and the other half is smooth. Looks new. I wonder how much that would be.

A relative has a 1925 (silver colored wheat penny with oversized rim edge. It could have been another coin (a nickel?) that slipped out into the blank bin and stamped. 2 total Steel 1943 Wheat Pennies
115 total 1944 Wheat Pennies (many without letter mark) (4 of them are the 'S' variety (San Francisco) and 15 total are the 'D' variety (Denver)).
1 total 1916 Wheat Penny
1 total 1917 Wheat Penny
1 total 1918 Wheat Penny
1 total 1919 Wheat Penny
2 total 1920 Wheat Pennies
1 total 1926 Wheat Penny
1 total 1929 Wheat Penny

Just had to check this vid out cuz I just came across 5dif weat peanys that r pretty old one is a 1928 no mint mark a 1944 with no mark a 1950 s mark a 53 no mark and a 58 no mark but all weat peanys so I kept them any ideas
I also have just one 1944 wheat penny with no mint mark, and did some research on it. It's worth 10 to 20 cents depending on it's condition. Does it matter if the back and front and upside down to each other on the 1944 wheat penny?
Yes if you hold the coin heads up and flip it over horizontal it will be the same but not sideways

The 1958 with a little gloss left is clearly a “DDO on the DATE and on the reverse , the letters “ONE CENT” is much thicker than normal.
The 1958 penny that sold for over a million dollars in January of this year, was probably normal because if it was thicker than normal the auction house would have noted and displayed it.
I would say that the condition of these pennies are at least fine/extra fine and -as mentioned one retains a little of of its original gloss.
