The JL is probably the best vehicle on the road. It can do what most cars or trucks can't and the latest models are just as quiet and comfortable as SUV's. I may be extremely biased. I love my JL, my fourth Rubicon.
I am Korean who drives Rolls Royce Phantom in korea, but I miss the old days when I used to drive JK Jeep Wrangler unlimited in Kent, Ohio back in 2012. Since I am living in Korea and miss my life in Ohio, I have decided to buy a next generation wrangler to support the economy of state of buckeye. I live in Toledo, a few miles from Jeep.. my Father in law retired from there, and also know another guy who worked at the old factory 🏭 painting Jeeps.. I love Jeep’s! We have a 2009 grand Cherokee and its still in great shape ( timeless ) Thanks to all my neighbors and family here in Toledo for all your hard work.

I think midrangetorque is saying that we don't get the chance to see how Jeeps are built. This is an amazing eye-opener as to why things cost so much? I am partial to the robotics and find them amazing. It's like they are human at times.
Would love to tour this place! I have now owned 5, driven 1 other, and racked up about 500,000 miles since 1988. Two of them I drove over 175,000 miles before trading them. All her manual transmissions... 4, 5 and 6 speeds.
My first car / 4x4 was a Jeep CJ7 some 28 years ago after which I became a hardcore landcruiser fan and have not owned anything except cruisers since then. I swore never to own a Jeep again but after seeing the new 2019 wrangler and after watching this video I have changed my mind. It is really nice.

For optional Equipment, I ordered: - Power Convenience Group - Alpine 9 Speaker Sound System - Freedom Top Hard top Apart from the obvious Power group and Hard top, the Alpine Sound System was the best upgrade I could have ordered. The chassis subwoofer is incredible. EDIT: Of Course, I love my Jeep as-well and although sometimes, I would have liked having a Manual. The Auto is super nice for those long trips.
Tell that third robot on the left to lay off the red Loctite on the body bolts please....some of us actually need to remove those without breaking them off.
Love my 2012 JKU w/ 220,000 miles and still going. Yes it has has some minor maintenance issues. If you can do the work yourself, very inexpensive to fix and this puppy will just keep on going.
It's simply amazing how those "robots" assemble cars. I'm glad there are a lot of smart people out there inventing them. It makes the job safer for humans, and sadly someday it might all be done by machines putting humans out of work. Thanks for the video.

American product used to be about Pride & Reliability this is gone for good Times do change but when shear profitability becomes the de facto business model, quality control/product longevity takes a dive. Just look at Toyota creed for ex their FJ40 series since first production in 1984 it is still a remarkably successful truck despite that Toyota do not have no production legacy or market share like the American counterpart
I see what you mean regarding the lack of 2 door Jeep sales but technically you can buy two door JLs currently in Canadian dealerships. The US doesn't have them yet?
There are 2 door JL's and have been for at-least the past 4 months. They are not popular and most Dealers don't bother ordering them. You can purchase 2 Door JL's in both the United States and Canada and they have been available for custom order for at-least the past 6 months....
@@richardburns9772 Its not so much a death wobble as it is an issue with complete loss of steering because of faulty welding of the trackbar to the frame. FCA did recall around 18,000 JL's to address this issue which is pretty ridiculous but its quite a stretch to say that every model will have this problem. It's a Chrysler product which will have poor fit and finish and can have poor build quality. I still love the Wrangler, despite all of that. ;)
Based on EURO standards which deduct for needless electronic nannies the Jeep does not have and also take into consideration pedestrian impacts. Structurally, it is very safe considering the top and doors are NOT part of the safety system at all. The cabin does not fail and cause more harm. NHTSA conducts safety ratings in the US, not Europe. But hey, keep buying into internet BS.
LOL @ Kurt. The crash test video is available on youtube. Dummies would have sustained catastrophic injuries because of the poorly designed crumple zones, which barely collapse as they should. Meaning the passengers would endure massive deceleration forces. So no, it's not just about the electronic nannies, although they do factor into the final score.

Have a rubicon JL With 2 inch Mopar lift and 35 inch tires, the car is amazing, it drives really good on the street but it’s a beast on the trails .

Look up death wobble. Caused by not maintaining the front end components as it wears out in 200,000 miles.
Leigh Rich look up death wobble wrangler and you will see it’s already a problem on the new 2018s, buddy.
