India has so much beautiful fabric. It's a sewists dream. I can't wait to see your N6622 top. I love that pattern. Be sure to make a mock without the ruffles because I find it big and boxy. That lemon fabric is beautiful. Perfect for that pattern. Be careful when you buy at Hobby Lobby, check it while they are cutting. Don't get it!!! It's useless if it's snagged. Don't buy it. @@VivaSewStyle Yes, you can let it go for now, but if it happens again, talk to a manager. Just tell them how rude she is. Usually when I check out they will ask, "did you find everything you were looking for?" At that moment, you can tell them about your experience. So sorry that happened to you. Love you! 🥰🥰🥰❤❤
@sewlovelywithgrace thank you Grace! I will do that. I just don’t like getting people in trouble. I get ver mixed customer service at Jo Ann too. There are cashiers who won’t greet me or say thank you and they look very irritated. They almost make me feel like I am very annoying 😭🥺😢 but I just keep on ignoring . I tell myself that they must be having a bad day. But what hurts me is the clear difference in which they treat me vs others. I just get tired of fighting and give up. Idk just a sad situation
may be high low kurta with top part of kurta set. You can make top with dupatta as well ..similar style ( gathered with sleeves) I seen some videos. You dress looks good. I have half made similar style but from quilting cotton in pink but i had less fabric so I did not get fullness on gathers and my H made fun of me... too young for me :-( so I paused that work and now need to re-work to convert into top
by the way - I have same pattern, from long ago, but it did not work for me, it was too tight so i do not use it at all.
oh... i have same pink lemons fabric. I bought it for my daughter but since he growing out of dresses, so do not know.. was thinking kurta with big side slits to wear with jeans but then also not sure my height weight age will work with it or not. My HL is very good. It is odd they behaved like this Joanns is famous for such associates working here.
I think you can do an apple shaped kurta with it and will look like a tunic top so will do double duty. Yeah I was very shocked at that person but oh well 😀
This pattern is very basic. So maybe you just need to make adjustments. But it’s so basic you might as well draft your own
