Probably due to my inexperience but I've really struggled with this tutorial. Day 2 of trying to follow it, and I end up with an island that bounces around everywhere. It can be very difficult to follow the process (3:44 for example - I simply cannot figure out what adjustments are made). It's a shame because your work is incredible and I'd love to be able to replicate it.

Sorry to hear that, it looks like After Effects couldn't track your shot properly (that's why the island is bouncing around). What you can try is using a different track point when creating the solid and camera (I had to try multiple times as well till I found the right one), you have to choose a track point that stays in place throughout the whole shot and doesn't shift around (also if you want the island to be further away in the distance the track point should be quite far away in distance as well). Once you have the camera and the track solid created just copy & paste position and scale of the track solid onto the island. In my case I ended up with a quite usable track but the island still didn't hold in place perfectly, so at 3:44 I manually animated the position and scale to compensate for that (just using keyframes and trying to get it right). If the 3D Camera track is unusable you could try tracking your shot with a simple point tracker where you can choose to track position, scale & rotation (but it's a 2D tracker so you lose all of the 3D features) and choose those track points in the shot yourself. Hope this helps.
