    I like how you have the most minimal stuff. I love that your easel is just a rickety bare bones box on legs. I love your scrubby brushes.

    Thank you very much. You don't waste time and aggressively attack the scene. You 're inspiring me to set aside the watercolors and get out my oil paints again, after a long, long time ago. If I would have squirt as much paint out as you, I may never have put them away. Your explanations and comments along the way are helpful.

    Another great demo, I love the way you introduced the blue greys and warm tones of the ground colours into the sky, give a unity to the painting, love the loose brush work, I tend to 'tidy up' my paintings too much so I need to learn to stop and keep that spontaneity. Cheers Tuner looking forward to the next one.

    While I don't like this style of painting rather than just moving on I was eager to keep watching because of your style of explaining and showing us how, when you felt lost and unhappy with certain passages you kept going to correct them, that's good teaching.

    Dear Vinson, I really like your work, the way you spread the paint on the canvas, at first it looks like a mess, but with your artistic technique you can see that in the end a wonderful work. Congratulations on sharing these beautiful works with us. Thanks here from Brazil.

    I see that you often paint on a stretched canvas. I like that and do also. I’m trying to figure out a way to carry them wet. Specifically when hiking some distance to paint.

    • @turnervinson
      @turnervinson  Před 3 lety +1

      I've strapped them to my backpack before, but it's not ideal. I usually just end up carrying the wet canvas. I did recently buy a backpack frame, and want to figure out a thin box for some larger work!

    Using paper towel will get u into serious trouble wth th WEF.😁... HERE IN South AFRICA U CAN BUY BAILS OF OLD CLOTHES FOR A 10th of th cost of paper towel per kilogram.... I'm not a tree hugger but I am all for supporting small business.... I'm always saddened by all these amazing artists that use paper towel regardless of its source..... Go figure

    As much as I admire your approach and the subject choice I personally just don't like those huge blobs/clusters of paint. They jump in front even when they shouldn't (like in the middle ground), I can (barely) understand it when I see it in the middle ground but for me it makes no sense to put them wherever you want. They create a huge distraction and look almost messy (like the artist lost control). Otherwise I like your videos mate.
