If this is MCU Thor, then yes, Zeus wins. However, there are comic versions of Thor that Zeus should be wary of and even scared--Cosmic King Thor and Rune King Thor come to mind.

If you're talking about the comic versions of the gods, it depends. If it's base THOR against Zeus, Zeus wins handily; however, if THOR is All-Father/Sky God THOR (the 1970's tier, not the ludicrous debasement/lowering down of the Odin Force in current abominable comics), then Zeus is in trouble.

Haven't watched the video yet, but comics Zeus is more powerful, at least at Thor's current power level. Based on the new movie trailer, I suppose that depends. Valkyrie is clearly shown fighting Gorr with Zeus's lightning bolt. So, if she got it because Zeus is dead, then Thor is definitely on top. But if Zeus leant it in order to help with the threat, then I think Zeus comes out on top.
Well yeah that's one way to look at it. But we both know that in the MCU they pretty much make the characters less powerful than their counterparts version in the comics

Thor, just like Batman, has incredible plot armor! There is no way Zeus should ever lose to Thor; that includes with the Odin force because Zesus has been wielding that kind of power for far longer than Thor. Also Olympians are true immortals, Asgardians are not. Olympians are true gods, Asgardians are not; at least according to the MCU
Not the same batman has way more plot armor Thor is legit powerful stalemates the hulk and has actually beaten hulk many times he is a true god of power so and asgardian is not what makes you a god many beings live on Asgard but Asgard is ruled by the gods both in the mcu and in mythology so they are both gods but yes Zeus still wins but by your logic Odin shouldn’t be able to beat him and that’s not true

@@jojostoenail2162 Agreed with the Batman comment. Agree with the Thor comment, to a certain extent. While Thor may be the powerhouse in Asgard, aside from Odin, the true powerhouse is Hercules. He isn't called the prince of power for nothing. However, since Marvel tends to favor the Norse gods more than Greek, Hercules gets pushed to the side more so. Think about it, he supported the weight of the heavens for three hours. That amount of weight is incalculable; and he wasn't even a full god yet. As far as regular Asgardians vs god Asgardians, i'm not really seeing it. To me, there are civilian Asgardians and Warrior (solider) Asgardians. The Warrior types (Odin, Thor, Sif, Balder, etc.) and the mystics (Loki, Frigga, Enchantress, The Norn Queen, etc.) have been gifted with abilities for their purpose. Some have even learned their abilities. The Civilians have that opportunity too, but chose not to. Either way, they still are godlike compared to humans, given their size, strength and length of life.
it's 50/50 between Odin and Zeus. It all depends on who wants it more that day; but usually, it would be a stalemate. Besides, they'd destroy the whole world and possibly cosmos fighting before a victor would even be declared.
@@rahul.a.m7800 You're right. The demi-gods (half god, half men/women) are not immortal. That is, until they die and assume total godhood (Hercules). The main gods (Zeus, Aries, Hera, Posidon, etc.) are immortal. They were born of gods, not man.

As much as it hurts to say I must agree with your outcome. Regular base level Thor can’t beat Zeus (Earth 616). Thor’s my all time fave comic book character HANDS DOWN; however it is what it is…Zeus IS a skyfather, equal to Odin, Dormammu, Vishnu etc; however; if we’re talking Cosmic or Rune King Thor, then I firmly believe Rune King Thor would beat Zeus’ ass off his hips…HANDS DOWN, that simple.

We should see a Bor Burison vs Zeus comparison lol. In the comics he's SO much more relevant than in the MCU where he actually dies *before* Odin from old age or something...and has enough feats for it to be interesting. He bested his own father Buri, literal progenitor of all Asgardians, stronger than Odin, and he's clapped tf outta Thor. Also just said "nah bro, you don't throw this at me" while causally catching & holding Mjolnir with no trouble at all

In terms of mcu I think we’ve got our answer, we know Zeus will be killed by gorr from leaks and that Valkyrie has his lightning bolt at the end of the trailer, and if Thor wins it’s clear he’s stronger than Zeus, but if he even does slightly better it’s proof he’s stronger, and given that Zeus will probably die at the start/middle and Thor is trading blows at the end of the movie, I think it’s obvious, we just need to apply some common sense in this scenario
but thor has one thing in this movie that makes him unbeatable, PLOT ARMOR.

In the current Marvel comics, Odin died and Thor received his Odin force which would now make him a sky father like Zeus. Plus, in the comics Thor’s mom is the elder Goddess Gaea who is even more powerful than Odin. So now he may be able to beat Zeus in power, but lack the experience of the older god.
