I may run a second go of tests with your suggested titles if I find the time. Keep em coming and I'll try and build a list. -R

The thing that kills the performance is the bots in those games. I have an i5 6gen U version and with bots project cars and assetto corsa is imposible to run. Without bots it ran fine.

Damn, this is a great video! Good camera and lighting, solid editing, all that. Would love to know how Live For Speed runs, as it's known for being able to work on even the most potato of machines. Good stuff!

4:10 Yes, just play Rfactor 1, i know its outdated but physics are realistic otherwise Max Verstappen wouldn't be practising on it when he started his F1 career.

Start using Content Manager in Assetto Corsa and you'll be playing 720p in full screen. And more options that can be turned off.
Gives me around 40-50 fps. I don't play as I don't have a steering wheel and its hard to control via keyboard.

      @@Flat4K I've been playing rfactor 1 since 2018. And i discovered Project Cars 1 in 2022.
      Man I'm in love.
      With the game obviously.
Day-Night transition with 19 Ai cars at low settings 720p still getting 40-50 fps.

Custom Shaders patch with all settings (aside optimisation settings) gives a stable 30-63 fps

for that money, these days you can get a Thinkpad P51 with a mobile quadro, not a high-end GPU, but many of them are better than integrated graphics.

dumb question. there is no such thing as "no gpu" nowadays (integrated gpus are still gpus) and LFS and its contemporaries like richard burns rally exist, plus newer titles like automobilista 1 are also good and require no hardware at all almost

I use Asus Zenbook 14x R7 5800h with vega 8 igpu (512mb) and 16gb of ram. Run AC really well on Basically most settings. Really happy, when i bought the game i was using a Lenovo G480 with 2gb ram lol. What an amazing upgrade, i use mouse steering and i can do okay on a hotlap albeit difficult to get consistent
