- "Stars" is a 1972 ballad from Dan Fogelberg's debut album, Home Free, and the second track on the album. The song was written by Fogelberg and produced by Norbert Putnam. The song was released on the Epic Records label.
"Venice" was started in Venice, California in 1977 by cousins Michael Lennon (born 17 July 1959) and Kipp Lennon (born 12 March 1960). Michael's brother Mark (born 28 March 1963) joined the band in 1978, followed by Kipp's brother Pat (born 9 November 1951) in 1980. Kipp and Pat are two of eleven siblings, and are younger brothers of the Lennon Sisters. Michael and Mark are two of thirteen siblings
Oh my goodness. How could I not have known about this band? Dan has been my favorite male vocalist for 50 years now. This is an incredible cover of the song and he sounds so much like Dan. Well done.
Miss the beauty, depth, and spirit of Dan Fogelberg's music - and the man himself, and how good it felt to know he was working on wonderful, new music to share with the world. It is not the same without him. Terrific job here, guys! Hope more people find their way to this site. Excellent!
Listen to “Venice” sing “Sunrise”. Sounds like Dan Fogelberg singing with Fleetwood Mac!
Nice but slow down tempo. Waaaay too fast
