God, by His great mercy, has given me the gift of discernment. I don't hear my Lord from Francis but I do hear Him in great, courageous clergy like Archbishop Vigano. As Mother Miriam said, "I am a sheep and I know my Shepard's voice and that is not who I hear from the chair of St. Peter."

What if it was God's will for Vatican II to happen in order to implement the Novus Ordo? God is using the Novus Ordo to grow the Church at a very impressive rate throughout Africa and many parts of Asia. The Latin Mass is contributing next to nothing to these areas.

Vigano rejects the VII, while he was ordained as a priest AFTER Vatican II and then consecrated as a bishop by JP II in 1992. He also accepted the assignment as Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria and also from 2011 to 2016 to the US. Now tell me, if he rejects the VII while his priesthood and consecration as a bishop is a product of VII, doesn't it make him automatically admitted that his priesthood was invalid, which makes his consecration is invalid, too?

The Holy Council of Trent: "Anyone who says that a man, once duly ordained can be returned to the lay state, let him be anathema". Not that Vigano was a priest in the catholic Church, but those who believed him to be so, would guilty.

This priest says there is nothing to be angry about, but he expresses anger easily and against Vatican 2. The Latin Mass has not been forbidden. Sorry - that is the truth! At Sunday mass today, Father’s homily included for us to pray a novena starting today to pray to our bishop’s guardian angels to keep the Tridentine Latin mass. Our parish has 8 masses on Sunday and the Latin mass completely fills the church.
Even though our blessed mother forwarned this terrible time when the church will see bishops agaiant bishops as our lady of good sucess we can hardly reconcile whats going on. Praise God for the Immaculate heart of his mother as our refuge and soul that doth magnify our Lord. Even if Pope Francis was to closse all churchs today we always habe the holy rosary and many other sacramentals.
Blessed be our Holy Mother! She remains loyal to Her Divine Son even when men try to destroy Him. The Holy Catholic Church and the Mass are not affected by the actions of Bergoglio nor by any man or all men.

@@priestsfortherestorationof9390 Bp Tetherow, Pope Francis is canceling the Latin mass next week. The parish I attend has 8 masses on Sunday and one of them is the Latin mass. The tabernacle is front center in the church. The church literally fills up at the Latin mass. It’s so beautiful to see 15 minutes before mass and after many people in silent prayer. Mostly veiled ladies and men in suits, none dressed in shorts & flip flops. Families with children. I grew up with that. When I had to attend a mass when traveling or vacation, it’s like a community center of people talking socializing like a popular nondenominational church, and the tabernacle is off somewhere else alone. That makes me sad that Our Lord is not adopted or reverenced as He deserves.
So you don't believe that nothing will destroy the church. That is what God told us! I believe God!

The ecclesiastical title Archbishop should not cause problems for anyone. It's been in use in the western/roman/latin church since the 6th century. It's not strictly a post councilor title.
Abp Anselm of Canterbury (1093-1109).
I'm pretty sure that V2 occurred after 1109.
Perhaps a return to the title of Monsignor would be appropriate to stave off these arguments.

Lynda, here is what a good priest once told me in the confessional: that watching a broadcast Mass is not a substitute for attending Mass. (At my parish, which offers the TLM.) May I suggest that you attend one of the available Masses, find a quiet corner, and pray the Rosary and other prayers or read Scripture during the service.
Good morning, Lynda. The Church requires that the faithful HEAR Mass every Sunday and Holyday. If you can only watch the Mass (the Novus Ordo is not the Mass but a sacrilegious service that not only not met your obligation but puts you in danger of mortal sin) than it is better to do so. Make sure that you pray the Rosary in addition to hearing the Mass. (no Luminous mysteries)

I've heard conflicting answers to my question and bottom line is I want to please God. If when I die and stand in judgment I don't want to disappoint Our Lord if he says you could've went to mass down the street to the novus ordo! I have to be sure that I am pleasing him! I love the church in it's traditional form including the tlm. I don't know if it's me but when I go to the novus ordo let's say on ash weds, it just is different. I only get home to ind every other month and that is when I go to to confession and the latin mass. I love, love it and know it's what Christ intended. Truly it is literally the only piece of heaven on earth! God bless you father and I will continue to watch the tlm live every Sunday! 🙏❤️

I know the novus ordo has skeletons in the closet and don't want to be part of something that eventually may become sacrilegious with the eucharist consecration prayers being invalid. I watch the traditional latin mass live at 1230 every Sunday from St. John Cantius out of Chicago. I pray that our Lord sees my heart and forgives me of any wrong doing! He is definitely not a modernist, nor am I a modernist. The pope can certainly be wrong in certain matters but that doesn’t delegitimise him of being pope. God is infallible and so is the pope but on,y on matters of ethic and morals. Nothing that Francis has said or taught is contrary to the teachings of Christ, it only may seem like that in the surface but you have to look into it to understand his teachings.

Is this priest implying that post Vatican II priests are not actual priests or that post Vatican II bishops are not actual bishops? Surely, the bishop that ordained him is a man who was consecrated bishop after Vatican II. It just seems like a very strong implication he's making and it would undermine his own status as a priest...
13:24 This is one that's probably nit-picky, but I'll voice my concern anyways. "Ite missa est" translates to "Go, it has been sent" (note usage of the third person singular). This doesn't refer to the faithful being sent, as that would be "missus es" (I think the N.O. say "go announce the gospel of the Lord" or something like that).
Rather, "it has been sent" refers to the sacrifice. Even back in the Old Testament, a sacrifice consisted of 3 essential elements: 1) the offering of the sacrifice 2) the slaying of the victim and 3) the consummation of the sacrifice. Sometimes this would be the sacrifice being consumed by fire, but it could also be consumed through eating as was the case with the paschal lamb. This consummation would literally be a manner of sending the thing sacrificed to God. After the priest has consumed the Host, the Sacrifice (God the Son) has been sent to God the Father. THAT'S what's being referred to with Ite missa est. It's why we say Deo gratias- not because we have the opportunity to leave or go out into the world. We say thanks be to God because the Sacrifice of all sacrifices has been perpetuated. The Lord has been offered to the Father. The Lamb of God has given His life and conquered death. And the Sacrifice of Calvary has been sent to the Father.
I probably am not explaining it very well. Probably check out Father Ripperger; I think he covers it much more eloquently (though I can't remember in which video).
I was originally ordained by a Modernist bishop who used the Traditional rite. I have since had the Rite supplied by a Thuc line bishop. (see a video explaining this on the you tube channel: Living Echoes 1890). Also, see the video on this channel dealing with the Rites of the Church and Apostolic Succession.
Your Latin translation is missing the relationship between the subject and the object...Latin does not follow the same form as English. The Last Gospel after the Ite Missa est explains this.

Yes, you are explaining it and it is not easy to grasp.
There is only one saving sacrifice! The one our Lord Jesus Christ gave his life to die and take sin to hell for, and RISE and thereby overcome death. This so to give us who repent and believe in Him, will have an abundant life with him, forever in heaven. We confess our sins, repent, die to ourselves and rise with Him as new people. A new creation.
We can take our burdens, problems, and put it all on that Alter with the sacrifice, at every Holy Mass we attend. This way we conjoin ourselves with Jesus, our Savior on that Alter at the consecration of the bread and wine, to the the body and blood. I see and am aware of it, as we enter into that very Sacrifice 2000+ years ago. Just like if we were there at the upper room.
No matter where the Mass is celebrated. It’s the one and only redemptive banquet , that we can be part of. Over and over, as it is out of time and space. Makes me faint to think about 17:47 what a gift it is!

You don't need to explicitly state the object or the subject in order to make a complete sentence in Latin. "Mitto" (I send) can stand as it's own sentence without the explicit stating of an object.
As for the subject: "Missa est" is a perfect passive participle. Just as "mitto" (I send) has the subject understood without the use of "ego" (I), so too can the subject be contained in "missa est" (it has been sent). In this case, "missa" is nominative (containing the subject) and refers to the word "hostia" (the sacrifice) which is a 1st declension noun- that's why "missa" is in the feminine and not "missus est".
I can't understand how you get your translation of it. If the perfect passive participle were referring to the 2nd person, then it would be "missus es" (if it were a singular "you have been sent") or "missi estis" (if it were a plural "you have been sent"). But it's not "es" or "estis" that's being used. It's clearly the 3rd person "est".

Lies begin at about 4:14 & again 4:30 and it just gets worse from there. I had to turn it off.
The 3 most important books, I think, for those of us who are Latin Rite Catholic to read so we can all easily discern & pin-point falsehoods spoken out about our Catholic Faith are: the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the Code of Canon Law.
And I also love the Catechism of the Council of Trent for its detailed section on the roles of husbands & wives - our duties towards each other and our children, but that's a separate issue - I'm so easily side tracked.
Going back to this video, many of these types of people (bashing Pope Francis & the Ecumenical Council of Vatican II) on CZcams are in direct violation of canon 1373 - I haven't finished reading the Code of Canon Law just yet, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me if they're in violation of other parts of Church Law as well. These people confuse Catholics and non-Catholics creating doubt in Jesus who promised that not even the gates of Hell would ever prevail against His Church founded on the Papacy. Sadly, some Catholics leave the Church as a result and others who had been interested in becoming Catholic walk away.

You have said a lot. The code of canon Law is a disciplinary code given to the bishops (not the laity) to impose penalties on those who confuse or deny the Canons (Dogmas pronounced from the Chair of St. Peter and binding on ALL Catholics). You have attempted to use it as a weapon.
What lies? Lies are heresies, heresies teach something contrary to what Jesus taught His disciples, The Bishops have a mandate to protect and defend what has been handed down (the Faith). Where are the lies? You have a moral obligation to point them out when asked. Make sure you quote Scripture and not the Modernist teaching.

The Code of Canon Law is for for every Catholic within the Latin Church. It lists our rights and responsibilities as Baptized Catholics as well as the consequences the Church Hierarchy may impose for violations and their legal recourse, if any, to a judgement against them.
