I watched Chris play this to a woman presenter on TV. She nearly fainted.
My hubs and I have our miracle baby thanks to this song and some rum while on vacation.

One of the best live performances I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of them!). Beautiful, plaintive vocals, twangy guitars and lyrics most of us can relate to all makes for a great HUGE hit for Chris. His voice reminds me of Roy Orbison so there's that. I would love to see someone do some kind of study to figure out how man babies were conceived to this song. I bet it was quite a few.

The foreshadowing background vocals are so powerful too; "this world is only going to break your heart". To me that is much a part of this song. Love is a "Wicked Game" and often it does break our heart but Chris, like us all, still says he "wants to fall in love', his mind always reminds him that "this world is only going to break your heart".

Very nice ladies, you might try a reaction to some Roy Orbison as Chris Issac rather fashions himself a bit after the very popular 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s Crooning Rocker known as Roy Orbison but he also brings to mind a young Elvis Presley.
