    Why for axis refinement put jcc handle parallel to trail cylinder axis ???? Plz ans

    • @optometrywithkhurram6867
      @optometrywithkhurram6867  Před rokem

      Because in bracketing we just found our rough axis for example 90 degree but now we are not sure that 90 degree are correct or not...it could be less than 90 or could be more than 90..so we put handle with the 90 degree trial cyl axis..and by doing this we will see that at position 1 minus line will at 45 degree and plus line will be at 135 axis..so now we can move to our refined axis either it is before 90(towards 45) or after 90 ( towards 135).

    How to decide whether we have to put -cyl or +cyl after confirmation of patients for position 1 or 2 and 3 or 4. Which axis we have to follow + or - . Pls clear this by updating in this video.

    • @optometrywithkhurram6867
      @optometrywithkhurram6867  Před 2 lety

      In every choice we have 2 axis ..one axis is for plus cyl and other is for minus cyl ..suppose at position 1..plus cyl's axis are 90 degree and minus cyl's axis are 180 degree ..now it's your choice you want axis in plus or minus..
      But always minus cylinder is preferred.
      Hope you are clear..
      And sure I will make a short video to make it more clear.

      @@optometrywithkhurram6867 thank you sir.
      But I want to ask whether it depends on - or + sph which have corrected b4 cly power or we have to always follow - axis of jcc to correct.
      Also I want to clear my doubt about JCC ie both + and - cyl are 90° to each other and line shown on JCC are axis but I m little confused in power and axis using JCC.
