Most of the GH3 DLC charts are scuffed, they probably had a separate team who had to quickly chart them all for release while everyone else worked on GH Aerosmith.
@@cosmicjenny4508makes sense cause the normal and bonus song charts imo are great but these on the dlc some are badly made and definitely feels rushed I’ve never played the dlc on gh3 and I fully feel the pain acai’s having
It seems that for parts like calm/hard rain they charted the fret changes precisely based on the audio instead of making it playable. The strumming speed is faster than the original but may have been done due to lack of time, who knows.
@@ChanceOfOne344254 the thing is I feel like it doesn't take more time to chart 8 notes instead of like 15. All it takes is some ears and a basic concept of rhythm.

Y'know, I think we take GH3's on disk charts for granted sometimes. Like, they're not perfect by any means, but compared to the dlc charts up to at least GH3, charts like Take This Life with just a couple strange things out of place aren't even worth complaining about when the devs just decided to eyeball a song like this and go "eh, good enough".

I’m not very good at the guitar hero games, but I’ve improved quite a lot over the last year. I’m to the point where I’m starting to get some semi-impressive fc’s on clone hero. Right now I’m working on every song from The Final Experiment by Ayreon; I’ll probably be working on The Awareness and Eyes of Time tomorrow.
All this is to say, when I will start feeling miserable grinding those solos, I can thank God I’m not playing this shit. That chart looks absolutely miserable. Who thought this was ok.

I think the only way I could get that yellow streak even remotely consistent was to fret the yellow hopo and strum on the same frame, ending on a downstrum. Insane. What an accomplishment.

A good way to think which string of strumming will end either down or up is that even number of notes end on the opposite stroke and odd numbers end on the same stroke.
so down on a 5 note ends down but down on a 6 note ends up!

That’s how I feel when I try to 5-star “Six” on Expert Guitar on Rock Band 2 on Xbox 360 console itself and MY HANDS WERE KILLING ME trying to do that after 14 tries for an OMB Customs Setlist.
