for the 4x4 project, i recommend the hsp xstr, they are very reliable and has a similar setup, it also has a chassis support which can mount the sec and receiver.
That's cool, can't wait to see the front wheel drive, and how well the rustler 4x4 holds up

those lines are present on tamiya bodies also is part of the molding process

you said that you will try to make a nitro burnout car I got an idea instead of using a transmission you should mount a gear to the motor then mount a pinion on the front like the fwd burnout car that would be more efficient

Kev, I know for 1/5 scale buggies you can get hydraulic disk brakes that fit on the wheel hubs, dunno if you can get something like that for smaller scales?

Maybe with an alloy tube that you can slide in and out of each other that is controlled by a servo and then places it somewhere that will make the wheels block?

The first body I ever painted I tried using the heatgun to fix a mistake n the thing just started melting, even when I hurried up n took the heat off it still continued to melt, it was too late! đ

Get a VKAR bison because itâs one of the cheaper rc cars but still good. Like ÂŁ250-ÂŁ300 itâs like a an e revo and you should do a review or do a review of a cheaper clone rc car like that

I watched your video on the trx-4 with the inter finders and I may have a solution for that, can you try to put the front inter finders on the rear so you don't have to cut any plastic on the finder and the suspension and body mounts will still be in the same position and you still can make the battery box strong love your vids Kev

@kevintalbot I was wondering if you have ever put a Motor on each differential ? Front and rear set up for a motor on each end of the 4Ă4? Put a gear on the other end and reverse the motor/or throttle on one and have them going through the same esc? Kind of like the emaxx has two motors ? How about no driveshaft and a motor on each end ?
Cool project ideas i want to see all of them for real.

If you build a nitro make a full length exhaust otherwise u would constantly have filter problems and an extensive amount of feul

Aaron Charpentier curved scissors are awesome, also you can use a scalpel for straight edges, then bend the plastic and it breaks really nicely and straight. Be careful with knives tho

Hey kev, i got the rustler 4x4 once it came out and a week or so later it broke. The screw that connected the tire to the chassis got ripped.

The thing you used for the wheels is called a compass
Mount the diff in backwards to move the disk and servo on the front bumper , it would buy you a little more room

For the Nissan GT-R body you should do spaz stix color shift, and back it up with black, wouldnât look good with white backed up. Give it a shot

You should use that lrp .32 you have it would be easier to start and have more torque
Get away from the red man! Letâs see a nice pearlescent blue on that Nissan. Or tamyia makes a paint that is code IP-10 I think and itâs a real shiny purple
