Facts
Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom were okay. Dominion definitely could've been better.
No way
For those who don’t understand why the T.rex pair attacked the party group is because, Sarah Harding’s jacket was still covered with the blood of the infant (that was when she was trying to fix and bandage up the Infant T.rex’s leg). Since it was humid in Isla Sorna, the blood didn’t dry off easily thus, the T.rex parents tracked them out perceiving the party as threat to their infant,
sarah is suppose to be an excellent animal behaviorist, even the bald man asks about the bloody jacket but she doesnt ditch the jacket.
@@murtazarizvi368 but at the same time, she hasn’t really even had time to process everything that had just happened. She got thrown off a cliff by a family of dinosaurs and someone she knew just got eaten by said dinosaurs and then she had to go running through the jungle surrounded by things and people that wanted to kill her for an entire night and a whole day. It was a massive mistake, but honestly it’s not implausible or outrageous that she made it.
The sequence of events that led to it are absolutely believable Sarah Harding absolutely should have known better than to leave the blood caked on her jacket for the male and female rexes to track down but given the previous event in the film her brain is just not thinking in a normal sequential scenario when I was in a rock I was on my feet in combat for 4 days straight on one occasion and by the end of it you better believe I didn't even know how to untie my boots or open a door even though I know how it functions I see people doing things just can't make it happen not to stray too far off subject but I guess Sarah's mind was on in the immediate Prospect of trying to get to the Evac Zone she was the one that said to the other guy the T-Rexes would pursue them as a threat to their infant so it is a double whammy
@@jonathanjones3623 would have been believable if she had ditched the jacket after roland asked about the blood n then the TREXes found them.
this all could have been avoided if nick the asshole hadnt brought the baby trex, or let loose the dinos in the camp that destroyed their equipments or removed the bullets
Oh my lord! Yo dude thank you! I felt your words man as I read & heard all this that s**t indeed felt terrifying like seeing it for the first time yo!
When the T.rexes were still terrifying . This movie has still one of the best T.rex portrayals in all the Jurassic movies . The Buck and Doe really feel like intimidating and dangerous animals .
For T.Rex Fans, it is the best Movie in the Series. Screentime, Design and even Reasons why attacking the milk Suckers and when Buck shows his strength in San Diego more than one will have Godzilla Flashbacks. But best is the Happy Family Ending, this Scene should be much longer.
You got that right. These Two T-Rex's are terrifying carnivores during the age of the Dinosaurs and that's why the T-Rex is on my list favorite Carnivores alongside the Spinosaurus, The Giganotosaurus, Carnotaurus, Allosaurus, Velociraptor, Baryonyx, Atrociraptor and Pyroraptor in the Jurassic world and Jurassic park movies.

NC is really hit and miss. Half the time he really doesn’t pay attention to his materials. It’s honestly just sad.
2:48 - Something I never noticed before. As Roland steps to confront the Rex, Ajay is being pulled away by two of the other guys. He clearly wanted to stay and help, or at least provide Roland moral support, but didn't get the chance. And Roland was so focused on what he'd come here for, he doesn't even look his way. No proper goodbye between them, then...
i think that Ajay had the ammo for his rifle.

@@YOy50Didn’t Nick Van Owen take the ammunition to stop Roland from killing the Tyrannosaurus? He was an environmental activist I think. Later in the movie, when Nick, Ian Malcolm, Sarah Harding and Kelly Curtis Malcolm were being evacuated from Isla Sorna by helicopter, Nick takes the two bullets from his pocket and says something like “That’s one souvenir he won’t be taking with him” (speaking of the Tyrannosaurus, of course).

The CGI in this movie is outstanding! Even more impressive after 25 years.
It's not CGI it's animatronics
@@foggyheight1170 Well, not everything. They mixed it together, like in the first movie. When the T-Rex puts his head into the tent or through the waterfall - yes, that's an animatronic. But everytime you see the full T-Rex moving, for example in the scene from 2:30 to 2:36, it is CGI. And for it's age, it's still very, very good CGI!

@@AdamWest1290 You mean the Jurassic *WORLD* movies, right?
And the raptors weren't trained pit bulls.
The visual atmosphere of scenes like this was closer to what I imagined when reading the books.
I'm pretty sure this scene was partly inspired by a particular scene in the first book, where the rex is trying to reach the main characters behind a waterfall. It tries to lick at them with its tongue just like in this scene, and the waterfall also runs red with blood - but in the book it was because the rex bit its own tongue after being tranquilized with a dartgun (like the one Roland is using here) by Muldoon and Genarro (the lawyer).

One minor detail I like is at 0:11 when the sleeping mercenaries tense up at the sound of the T-Rex's footfall. Even if they don't immediately wake up, their subconscious notes the sound. It's something that Spielberg could've easily overlooked, but he put it in.
4:07 when I was a kid, Roland was my role model. He was brave and skilled enough to shoot T rex from that close range.
He's still my role model.
Probably the coolest character in the whole movie
My favorite scene of his was the one that got edited out. Tembo was such a great character addition. I’m so glad they released an action figure of him recently.
Ah yes. The glory days when Tyrannosaurus Rex was the ultimate carnivore and didn’t get its ass whipped by every other big theropod.
They pretty much nerfed Rexes in JP since they knew there’d be no way for other apex theropods to shine.
Rex was the most advanced large theropod to ever exist. It would’ve made mince meat out of Spino and Giga.
But we can’t have a film if they made JP Rexes show why their real life counterparts are called “Kings.” Sadly, it got sacrificed so those two can shine.
@@pn5705all of that was all on colin trevorrow because he's not a t rex fan, but since they're doing another trilogy and he's not directing it, hopefully the next director will give the t rex or the next t rex the respect he or she deserves.

When you think about it, we both would have the same reaction from running from the trex we wouldn’t have much time to think let alone his reaction is somewhat normal so he didn’t have much have time to think since the snake got the drop on him.

I like that Malcolm remembers what Grant told him about T Rexes: stay down, don’t move, don’t move.
Honestly I feel bad for the hunters, sure they weren’t saints, but they saved the main group and didn’t seem all that bad.
They didn’t deserve to die how most of them did.
Also props to the two guys at 2:48 for pulling back Ajay, he wanted to help Tembo but he was unarmed, they saved him for a short while.
Ajay was killed by raptors 😢
Poor guy
Well too bad for them! On Isla Sorna, you don't go looking for trouble, trouble finds you!!!
To be honest, the way the film turned out, the Hunters should have let the main cast die. The main cast indirectly killed all the hunters.
@@alexanderhayward8505 True but the main cast just came to get a photo record. The hunters were greedy and they wanted to make money out of the dinosaur zoo on the mainland. As Ian said to Ludlow, "Now you're John Hammond."
@moatguy4471 Ludlow wasn't killed on the island though. They were all independent contractors and just being paid to do a job...
So the guy at 4:58 was based on paleontologist Bob Baker a rival to Jack Horner specifically with the T-Rex being scavenger a hunter theory. Jack Horner basically told Spielberg to make Baker a character and kill him off. After watching his death scene Baker then messaged Horner “See I told you T-Rex was a hunter”

@@anthonyt219 True. Jack was wrong about T-Rex mostly being a scavenger. Like you said because even lions today would scavenge for food if they have no choice, T-Rex would do the same and that would be easy when it only had to fear it's own kind, but it would mostly be a hunter due to the fact there have been fossils of T-Rex's victims that it hunted which show bite marks that....HEALED!!!

"For some reason" as if it is a mystery? The World trilogy is absolute garbage, and there are a hundred reasons why the original 3 films were way better.(I do have a very special place in my heart for the Lost World).
Roland was the coolest character in this film. "Peter!, if you want me to run your little camping trip, there are two conditions: firstly, I'm in charge, and when I'm not around, Dieter is. All you need to do is sign the checks, tell us we're doing a good job, and open your case of Scotch when we have a good day. Second condition: my fee? You can keep it. All I want in exchange for my services is the right to hunt one of the tyrannosaurs. A male, a buck only. How and why are my business. Now if you don't like either of those two conditions, you're on your own. So go ahead, set up base camp right here, or in a swamp, or in the middle of a Rex nest for all I care. But I've been on too many safaris with rich dentists to listen to any more suicidal ideas, OK?" Peter: ....OKAY!

I love this movie and this scene is pretty good, but what blows my mind is that on an island inhabited by human-eating lizards of all sizes, nobody had the bright idea to leave a lookout or two when entire camp went ot sleep.
I was thinking the same thing. Like seriously, you guys are in an exposed area where anyone can see you. Although to be fair Roland said that they wouldn't be there for very long. Even then though I'm surprised he didn't think that there needed to be a sentry or lookout
@@akka8588 don't forget Roland wanted to hunt the T-Rexes. So he thought luring them to the camp (with Sarah Hardings blood covered jacket) was the best way to accomplish this.
I was also baffled as to why these guys who all had guns wouldn’t just think to shoot the Tyrannosaurus.
@@jeremykrause153 Well, shooting it probably wasn't an option in the moment. Automatic guns use too small of a caliber to inflict any super significant damage to T-Rex, you'd need higher caliber ammo. Although, they could've always just aimed for the eyes, I suppose. Ether way, dumb scene in a dumb yet fun movie.
@@X2yt Nah dude, Ive seen videos on the internet where guys on Africa take down elephants with just a pair of shots using Ak-47s (horrible, yes, but real, nonetheless) so they definitely could had taken down those T-Rexes rather easily
I loved that they gave the Doe different screams than the Buck(who sounded more like Rexy)
That snake that the guy freaked out about is actually non-venomous, I guess he was more scared of the snake that those huge teeth!🤷🏻♂️
Lmao even if it was venomous rather take your chances with the snake then a Trex. Pick the lesser of two reptiles.
That's the thing about irrational fears, they make you irrational.
If it would have had bright yellow circles around its body it would've been venomous
The coral snake ( which was seen here) imitates the venomous one to scare off predators
I always thought the same thing lol. The snake he went all crazy about and got himself killed over couldn't even harm him if it wanted too
@@gergopiroska5749 The milk or king snake are the snakes that mimic. The coral snake is the venomous one.
Julianne Moore was really good in this. her sheer terror is very convincing
She is a great actress
For being a “professional” hunting party, I always found it strange that ALL of them were sleeping with not one person standing watch. Not to mention there are at least several with AK-47s, and they all just run.
Ajay and Malcolm were on watch waiting for Roland. When Roland returned after finding what was left of Dieter they had a discussion on how to get to the workers camp, with Roland saying to wake the group in an hour.
The rexes just showed up before an hour was up.
Man, this scene both amazed and terrified me as a kid.
Roland Tembo, Press F! The most badass hunter in the movies story!
I think the reason why a lot of people hated this film because it had a darker tone it wasn’t like the first one all whimsical and exciting seeing real life dinosaurs after the events Ian Malcolm became more serious instead of a smart ass funny character he almost died in the first one you can understand the fear he had to go through in the first film me personally i love this film I love the characters and the darker tone of the film wayyyy better than Jurassic Park 3
1:51 seriously though why do people think screaming is going to help?
More of a natural reaction as she was scared, but no way the T-Rex didn't hear it.
Lost world is my second favorite next to the first one. Then 3, then the first Jurassic World.
Let's be honest how many of us would just shooting/ spraying and praying everywhere if we all being chased like that😂
Ian Malcolm seemed to have a steelier edge to him in this film. By 2022's Part 6, he'd become the nerdier guy from the first film again.
The best film of the series!
Man I love this movie. Why do people put it down so much?
The ripples in the water will never get old. It's a brilliant trick. So simple yet so good. If you have no clue, I'll give you a hint. It's a subwoofer.
In the first movie it was a guitar string under the dashboard of the car
@@clamcrewcarclub6017 that's correct
