    💖 ABOUT ME:
Hi, my name is Jen I am 46 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 10 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time CZcamsr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. I hope you enjoy my channel and if you do, please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE & leave me a comment!

This video should GO VIRAL ITSELF!!!!!!! I am so happy you are saying what so many of us have been screaming at our screens for years! Thanks Jen!!!

  • @carols.4252

What goes around comes around. I’m a senior citizen. Back in the seventies we had these bronzing gels that you could mix in with skin care. Love Cosmetics made my favorite. They even had one for the body. Revlon had great glowy blushes you applied with a sponge. Back in the seventies Max Factor had Super Clear and Cover Girl had Super Sheet. These were our skin tints. Revlon had the Moisturous lipsticks about 15 to 20 years ago and they were the precursor to the Glass Shines. I had Honey Sip and it was a fabulous golden nude. Way back in the seventies Helena Rubinstein had liquid blushes that rolled on.

You always come up with interesting concepts! By the way, you are like a living make up - encyclopedia !

  • @kekkelpenneypeckeltoot5700

Maybe people just assume drugstore is not good and don’t look there? Not us though!! Thanks for being wonderfully you ❤

  • @tonyacolvin1192

Does anyone remember the Max Factor foundation stick from the late 80's early 90s? That was the bomb 😂

  • @susannokes3943

I love the “education style” of videos you do. Love it when Lisa Eldridge does the same and consider this video the same quality as hers. Well done 💕😊

  • @jennifermorin3229

A true makeup lover when you do videos like these! I love when Jen delves deeper into makeup like no other!! L’Oréal is the original with so many products.

  • @bettym6219

I remember before L’Oréal Lumi, Revlon had an entire Skinlights line with multiple shades of the highlighting lotion that could be used in multiple ways-they were SOOO good, wish they would bring them back-not like what they have now, but like the original.

  • @lindasadler6338

I love learning about makeup, especially drugstore options for high-end trends!

  • @elizabethnelson2287

Back in the day, I mean waaaay back…Max Factor had a foundation stick that my Mom used, then I used one as well when I was in my early twenties (before I became a cruelty~free only consumer🐰) Wow, nostalgia vibes to be sure💞Thanks Jen for the great content, your channel just keeps getting better & better👍🌟

  • @AmberKishbaugh-uo6ki

I’m 46 and I’ve been into makeup since I was 14. So there is rarely a product that launches that is truly unique. Like you said, everything is cyclical. For me, the Blinc tubing mascara was my first tubing mascara and it is really good. Also, Laura Gellar’s baked blushes and highlighters. I also still have the Revlon Skinlights loose powder lol. But they had the full line of glowy products so long ago.

  • @amyhadley6021

I LOVE this video. I find trends so interesting. I also love that drugstore makeup sometimes is ahead of its time. Back in the day, if it was in a magazine, it was popular, but now it's social media.

  • @carolynroth1281

I saw so many products that my daughters and I have been using for years! People really do get blinded by the new shiny things that come out, but you know what’s what! lol

  • @outro-nevermindxx

The fact that some of us have tried these before and love it not knowing how big or viral they’ll be come later on (and how much the price have changed too I think the lumi glotion was less than $13)

  • @Susan406

Honestly, there is nothing new under the sun. I'm an old Boomer and we had plenty of similar drugstore products back in the 1970s. Color-changing blush? Had it. Duochrome eyeshadows? Yep, had those. Bronzing drops? Yoobetcha. All-over color wash/glow products? Indeed. It's so funny to see people or companies say they have something "New, never seen before!" Like Lancôme says they created the first lip gloss in a tube??? That is pure BS! Great video as always, Jen! 😍

  • @CubittChaos

I’m so old, I remember the Max Factor foundation sticks lol 👵🏼

  • @DD-gm8rz

I remember using a Max Factor foundation stick in the late 80s through the 90s. Then, the brand just disappeared. I loved that foundation, but of course, that was with youthful skin...I would never use anything like that on my now mature skin.

  • @bethmcnair5040

That drugstore tubing mascara was my holy grail for years. As someone with hooded oily eyelids, that’s the only mascara I could wear-especially during summer months.

  • @luxiemua8913

Everything has been made already. That’s why on every trend I look in my collection first and ALWAYS find an item that does what the “new hot thing” claims is sooo groundbreaking 🤔
