- This is a full length live stream concert that Tommy performed to benefit The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA on August 29, 2020. He recorded it at Tunesmith Studio in Nashville, TN and featured Richard Smith on the last song. Brad Benge engineered the sessions and Neighborhoods Apart did the filming.

if you ask me what are the best things about this world we live in! I would say without a shadow of a doubt, 4 things, having con- ceived Jesus as my Lord, having conceived beautiful children, and great friends, most of the youngest was having connected and listened to Tommy emmmanuel's acoustic guitar, and telling me how to make me well listen to him, without a shadow of a doubt, his music is therapeutic, messing with our feelings, can touch the soul, congratulations tommy emmmanuel, and may the living God continue to bless your life in all areas. success and a lot of health to keep making this wonderful sound.

Apart from his outlandish technical skill and his ability to play great in so many idioms and situations (if he hears it he plays it), he is a smiling and infectiously happy entertainer. To me he is simply the most joyful and entertaining guitar-wielding musician I can think of, and as a result I go back to TE music over and over and over again and always end up with a smile and tapping toes.

Why would 8 people give this a thumbs down? I regularly look for the best guitarists I can find to listen to being a "hobbyist" there is no better IMHO you can stop looking. Trust me.
Its about the passion and shear heartfelt joy this man has delivered for decades and still lays it out for you all. Enjoy this folks you are fortunate to hear this gift.
Tommy is good! No doubt BUT!! There is an equal as for as guitar playing goes...and he has a ton of origionals that I listen to daily...and that is WILLY PORTER! Listen to his high wire live album....Songs like Paper Airplane...and Unconditional...Are top shelf!!

my cousin Paula gave me a nylon string Silvertone.. half inch action... I learned how to.. go get a few more guitars.. no worries mate
I'm actually looking for a good classical guitar, and I think that's the difference between gut string Silvertones.. and say.. what Andre Segovia played on... or my favorite guitar teacher Thu Le... I watch the hands... it's possible... to play really well... like young Master Tom here... blessings on him and his family forever ❤
