Along with Tommy's guitar playing his enthusiasm and exuberance are unmatched. He posts so many videos offering his music for free and we still buy his CD's and attend his shows. He knows if the music is good we won't be able to get enough of it.

I have know Tommy Emanuel for a log time and he never stops surprising me with his sheer speed of his fingers.
It seems at times he is given the guitar a real searve, not only looking like he is but the amount of sound that is produced.
I remember asking once if that rather battered looking guitar was due foe renewal, his answer was more than no, it looks like that for a reason, and believe it or not I love the hell out of that guitar, and it gets looked at very regularly, because it gets played more than the others.
It made me stop and think, because i recall watching him doing classical gas on it.
I was very saddened to hear of Phils passing, sadly it seems we are loosing a lot of people who have helped shape the form of music
a n d I wonder what will carry on the sound of good music in the future.
We are all getting older but thankfully have some stunning things to look back on, top of the list is making music, for ourselves and for others to enjoy, but Tommy stands out like a very bright light so keep it coming and thanks, as he once said lifes not a practice its the real thing so get on with it and boy , he does.!!!!
