Palm Beach is a town in South Florida, separated from the mainland by the Lake Worth Lagoon. It’s known for its glitzy estates and its beaches, including the long, sandy Palm Beach Municipal Beach. Worth Avenue is lined with upscale boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Art and antique furnishings are displayed at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, inside the hotel and railroad tycoon’s huge Gilded Age mansion.

I loved going shopping in Palm Beach, plus visiting the bakery just off of Worth Avenue. It was always a beautiful drive up Ocean Boulevard (A1A) from both Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton where I lived.
I live in (by comparison) 'Podunk' N FL, Columbia county. My daughter and her family lives in West Palm Beach. Every time I visit we take a drive and I am in awe of the beauty of the coastline as well as the waterways, yachts, high-rises, etc. Its a huge change from my relatively medium size town with limited varieties of shopping and dining to this metropolis of any and everything you might want or need to experience. I just hate the five hour turnpike drive, lol.
I just looked at my drive time for the heck of it. 3 hours 15 minutes from Leesburg. I'll definitely go.
I've gone as far as Vero Beach.

3:34 the wild parrots oh how I love to hear and see them flying freely. Many of these birds were escapees from Miami jungle land when hurricane andrew barreled through. A tragic storm but I know several that lived to tell their tales.

I've been on that little excursion a few times over the past 30 years when I'm visiting a friend or relative in West Palm. One small stretch has it all: Oceanside-your 30,000 SF mansion, then directly across the street (A1A) on Intercoastal Waterway you dock your $100m yacht. There are only 4-5 addresses that can put it off. I think Kennedy compound and Mar-a-Lago are there. Hard to see much because of the privacy landscaping-which just adds to the mystique!
I drive that route every day when I come home from work and you know what seems to amaze me each and every time I look at the cars parked on the road on Worth Avenue

You were so close to Maralago the first time you drove by Worth Ave., all you had to do was keep going south,(Maralago is about 2 miles south from Worth Ave). You crossed the 3 downtown bridges, instead of just drive around the island. Great video, nonetheless. 👍

I have not been to Florida in ages, I wish I gone there in the 2010s after I did been twice in the 2000s, because my parent went there with someone and I didn't last decade ago.
We went to West Palm Beach a few weeks ago and it was very nice and lovely and clean but noticed that the pavements/sidewalks are always empty. Don't people walk anywhere in this area?
not with the ghetto directly across the bridge, only people you will see walking are tourists, or the rich right back to there cars... Now closer to the beach is a different story...

Came here after watching 'CharlieBo313' videos of American ghettos and while watching this Palm Beach video I was wondering where are the people as the streets as they were mostly deserted. At least in the ghettos the streets were lively with people (maybe because most don't work and the housing stock is crap) and in Palm Beach is was almost a ghost town. Palm Beach looks beautiful but if I had that kind of money to live there I would rather live in Mediterranean Europe where I have restaurants and cafe's every corner and the streets are busy with people day and night.
I have always found this to be eerily the case in this area. High dollar real estate with roadside shops galore, yet almost seeming like a ghost town regarding pedestrian traffic and activities. Almost as if they rich are not currently at home and are off around the globe somewhere else in their dozen other homes. Typically busier during winter months as the rich return for the weather.
you pretty much answered your own question...directly across the bridge and no less than a 5 min car ride is the ghetto... the rich older folks are juicy targets and they know it, hence the reason they do not stroll around in that area...the police on the island are very cautious and zealous but they cannot be everywhere at once...
I live here in palm beach county...I love it.. but these areas in the video are old and rich people.

These areas are ok, I just think Hollywood and Hallandale Beach is better its more things to do in those areas its more to do for the kids.

This man needs to show apartments you can rent a few blocks from the beach & area he takes us through, nothing very expensive, not the places that have all the games & frills, that is why I personally want the freedom of the beach & walking around or biking around town. Don't need a place with a pool , exercise room, bingo, just an apartment, even if it's a plain senior place. in a nice area.
Jay J you probably wouldn’t find that on palm beach island. places are very expensive on the island, even smaller homes are well into the millions. Singer island would be the better bet for affordable beach living. Also west palm beach is affordable
