Well yeah-thatâs how basketball is played. Thatâs why theyâve been losing. Center Clark is unwise although fun to watch. Logo threes are low percentage shots. Sides is actually wise for the change. Clark is a true 2 guard. If Sides makes her a 2 her turnover may go down. She needs to dump it into Boston, if the double team comes Boston passes it out to Clark and then she shots the three. THATS how basketball works. You take the high percentage shot FIRST. Notice that any successful team does this. Look at MJ. What was his first option for a shot-12 foot mid range jumper-why? Higher percentage, which wins games. This is basketball 101.

Kelsey Mitchell should not be in anybody's starting lineup. She does not move the ball, and takes way too many bad shots especially with a lot of time still left on the shot clock. Zero hesitation. Mitchell is the perfect 6th man Vinnie Johnson type, but it seems like Sides gives her too much leeway to do whatever she wants. Meanwhile, Caitlin is clearly "in her own head" about every single shot she takes.
Finally, really tight (non-sloppy), fast paced decision making by all players!
Little sad that cameras really didnât show Clark toward the end. Sheâs disappearing slowlyâŠ..I miss the Hawkeyes. No team in the W will ever make Clark be the main player like Lisa Bluder did.

I've been an Avid Sports Fanatic for 48 years. This is the first 8 minute real time action of WNBA (or 1:17 of game time) I have ever watched or have had any interest in watching. And it was magnificent! The only reason I even know it's WNBA season is because of one player.

Itâs because sheâs in whatâs called the Valley of Despair. EVERYONE goes through it when faced with something new. She was hyped up and thought professional basketball was like college. Mind you in college they play mostly teenagers. Now sheâs playing women. Women who work out at high intensity, lift weights and train at the highest level for women. She has to catch up-I believe she will once she gets out the Valley and realizes that it wonât be as easy as she may have thought it would be.

I watched the game a CC wasn't the reason they won it was the play of Boston and the hard play of Mitchell. In the last few plays, Mitchell getting the ball back atfer their turnover and giving them a chance for another bucket to go back up. Caitlin wins another game. She led both teams in assists with 6 and had 4 rebounds. Some of her assists with Boston were in clutch time. Those two are going to be a great duo.

Here's the truth that all of these new basketball Clark fans don't understand. The only team in the history of pro BB that has had a player average close to 30 points a game while taking tons of shots and winning a championship is Michael Jordan and the Bulls. Clark is no Michael Jordan. The only way the Fever wins in this league is if everyone else scores, Clark plays off the ball, and has a high number of assists. In the pros if your bigs don't score, you don't win. Basketball is a team game. This is how the game is played whether these new uninformed fans want it so or not.
