How do you use anki decks to crossover from imacmacbookios and keep the progress as you use them in separate devices?
Does the heat map work if you are using it on mobile app or does it only work on the the desktop version? Essentially do they speak to each other so I get credit for doing my mobile anki when on the move?
GOATTTTT...Only works for versions before 2.1 so if you want it you gotta delete 2.1 and download an older version

It's not on ankiweb, but the creator has a beta version that has full 2.1 support.

Great vid Prerak. I just wanted to know if it was possible to see all the cards in a deck and review all the cards in a deck rather than wait (ex: 7) days for them to show up .
Great Q. Will address this or shoot me a quick message over snap and I'll try to get back to you.
The simplest way to do is to go into the deck, press the button “Custom Study” on the bottom and select “Review Ahead”.
There is also a more advanced feature called “Filtered Decks”. It allows you to create a custom study, for example: study all cards that should appear in 3 next days, study all cards that have a specific tag but only from these 3 decks, study all cards that have word “cat” in it, etc. See: apps.ankiweb.net/docs/manual.html#filtered-decks-&-cramming
Try not to overuse these features too much! The whole point of Anki is the principle of “spaced repetition”: the brain memorizes stuff much, MUCH better if the flashcards are spread out over the time, than if you cram them all in 1 day.

How long does it take you to make cards? I’ve incorporated Anki into my study routine but it’ll take me a while to make cards for my lectures. Is that normal or should I try to speed things up. For example a lecture will have 60 slides and it’d take me 2-3 hours to make flashcards for all of them. I feel I get a little distracted when I make them tbh
It gets quicker over time, for example when you learn keyboard shortcuts or become more experience in how to formulate short snappy question-and-answer cards. But don't worry too much about ‘wasting time’, formulating cards is part of learning, your brain keeps working in the background absorbing information, while you are making the flashcard.

Mirzhan Irkegulov how do I repeat in 1min,10min,4days,7days,10days and so on? If I have 1000 cards and review only about 200 a day then will I ever be able to do all the cards?

Ajay Raj you make less than no sense then. You asked to review the heatmap NOT for Anki 2.4 which makes me believe that you assumed that the video was about Anki 2.4. Despite all that, the current version of Anki is 2.1.33, not even close to Anki 2.4. The fact that you switched to RemNote has no connection whatsoever. Anyway, best of luck and have a nice day.
