Reddit is the source of that. Be updated with r/medicalschoolanki on Reddit.

Right now i am using Lightyear deck primarily for b&b but i am confused with pathoma, should i use duke pathoma deck or the zanki pathoma which is already in lightyear deck. Which one is more comprehensive ?
I would suggest going for the Anking deck. Has Pathology from Pathoma!
Anking V6 is way too huge , how's the deck of pathoma?

Hey so what do I do when I move on to the next topic. Ex: I finish cardio and move on to Endo for BnB. Do I go back and suspend Cardio? or do I just keep unsuspending cards as I move forward so eventually the whole deck is activated?
No, You keep them unsuspended and eventually you'll unlock the whole deck.
If you were to suspend cardio, youd be defeating the purpose of anki, that is as a spaced-repetition app~

Is it recommended to use V12 of Anking since that is new and is updated ?
Hello. It would be great if you could do a video from the very beginning. Like from the moment you download that new version up to the configuration. I recently downloaded the Anking V7 for STEP 1 and I just can’t seem to understand how to use the cards or configure them. I’ve seen the anking videos but I don’t get them. I would really appreciate it.
Are you talking about updating deck? Because in this video I do everything from the beginning, right from finding the deck to using it. Check out the other ANKI 101 basics video in the playlist to understand more.

What does it mean to restart anki?
Hi, is it possible to unlock all the cards in a category, but then have a setting which will only reveal a certain amount of cards everyday automatically? For example if you had 100 cards which are locked, but you don't want to have to manually unlock 10 new cards everyday. Is it possible to set it up so that they unlock themselves?
Yes! You can change the daily limit for new cards/day in the options of the deck. Just click on the cogwheel icon next to your deck and change the New Cards/day limit to 10.
Now no matter how many cards you unlock, you’ll only get 10 new cards a day.
Does all of this work the same with the AnkiMobile Flashcards app? Or is it better to do it in a web browser?
Set it up in the browser, do the reviews on mobile :)
Please l have downloaded the deck but when I want to import it they said some notes have not been archived so am not able to import the Anking deck... please help me out

Also i got the mobile version ankidroid. And downloaded the anking v8 version from reddit. But how do i get the anking on the ankidroid?
Just add the deck once in the computer and then sync your profiles to see the same on Ankidroid.
do you recommend using lightyear? and if so which one? I only use bnb as a source of study with first aid2020. and sketchy for micro and pharma using peppers. I find anking so overwhelming and cant keep up with choosing relevant cards I waste a lot of time doing so.
Lightyear is good and extensive too but it lacks the extra information once you answer the card. It gives you none to less context on the card to remind you of the big picture. One more thing is that the formatting of the card (underline, bold, colours) is pretty bad in LightYear compared to Anking and I think that makes a difference too when you have to grind 100’s of cards everyday
Anking has BnB tagged too so workflow shouldn’t be a problem! I can say that for sure because I helped in tagging the BnB cards myself and I use the BnB tags all the time.
Even though Anking is better in my opinion, I totally get your point that it can seem a bit overkill. I’d recommend you to try LightYear for sometime and see if it suits you.
If not, then the Anking workflow should be no problem I can say for sure.

@@MadAboutMedicine I used it for 2 days and I am flying through it cause in back of my mind I know dr rayn explained it and I ve already read it in first aid. anking takes minimum of 2hrs to choose right cards and to see how this connects to this topic in 1st aid and what dr rayn explained and some times it doesn't connect it gets me burn out. yes the bolding and colors are wonderful in anking but it gets me to memorize this specific card without good explanation I heard and understood before really tough but light year saves a ton of time not having to process what I know vs what I dont know.
