- This week we prepped the bed of our 2023 Ford Raptor with the BAK Industries RevolverX4S to protect all the gear we’ll be mounting to our Bedside MOLLE Racks! We partnered up with our friends @Realtruck who pointed us towards this awesome bed cover. After the install, we're finding it's the best of all worlds when it comes to a classic tonneau cover look, but actually protecting the valuable gear in your bed.
Comprised of rugged, lightweight aluminum paneling, this cover rolls up effortlessly and isn’t a hassle when kept that way. It's also just so flat… the ridges from the metal structure beneath the exterior material are barely visible, and considering how the cover sits within the bed, it's basically flush with the bedsides height-wise making it both sturdy and sleek! This is a very well designed product and we’re excited to put it to the test.

I have the exact cover on my F-150 (had it on my F-250 too). On the F-250 it fit with plenty of clearance with the bedside panels up front. On the F-150, it’s close, but still fits. Love your products and love that they work with the X4S!
Hi there Matt. I'm keen to hear how water tight that ends up being. You might remember I have a retractable cover that rolls into a front box; it's about as water tight as a sieve and takes up quite a bit of the Raptor's bed, so I'm about ready to get rid of it. You never mentioned in this video the result of how the side rail brackets/mounts interact with your other products - given it's installed I presume fine - or did it need some finagling? Anyway, this might be a good option for me if it's water tight, and it sure looks good!
Do you think you'll ever look at installing a bed rack with a roof top tent...which needs a-whole-nother consideration of tonneau cover especially if you want it to stay water tight!? One with a t-slot might work...
Is there any way to keep it locked until the tail gate is opened to keep things secured so people don’t steal stuff from the bed or the truck
That is actually exactly how this cover works! When the cover is closed and latched in place, it is effectively locked, unless your tailgate isn't locked. Once you open the tailgate, you get access to the cable that unlatches the cover so you can roll it up.
What is the bed and tail gate mat in the truck.
Our tailgate liner is the stock option that comes on 2023 Raptors, and we pulled the bed mat out of our 2021 F-150 - I think we originally got it on Amazon, it's the DeeZee Gen1 Rubber Mat: rb.gy/pwknh1
