We are so honored that our band Amen Graves was featured on BangerTV and that the "I.OMEN " EP was highly rated by Daniel Dekay 🤘 This means so much to us, we worked so hard on this ep and we are continuing to write more songs for you guys ! Thank you for the awesome review 🤘
It's a great record!!!
@@VaniumVladimir thanks ma dude 🤘
dope music man, greetings from singapore
Amen
You rock! Greetings from Sweden. 🤘
We are absolutely humbled by your review and the 4.75 rating of our EP, the fallen!
Would like to point out a quick note on the lyrical theme of our band Aramaic, we predominantly write about myths, mythologies and historical events that surround the Aramean, Assyrian and some Babylonian folklore & legends about diaties like Ishatr, Gilgamesh innana & Marduk and so on.
No social, religious or even any political connotations have been considered while writing the lyrics; we try to stay far away from that.
All the members ate from the Levent region hence the name. It made sense for what we are trying to present as a theme, image, direction & music.
Thanks for the insight. Ancient mesopotamia is a huge interest of mine, so I'm pleased to hear this in my metal. Your EP is incredible. All the best for the future and hope to see you in England some day!
@@SOASwig thanks Daniel, we need more metal heads like you in the world, and all your efforts have been highly regarded, hope you churn out more exciting countries and expose us to more good shit!
As for the uk, set it up and we will come 😁🤘🏻
@@sergeslave wish I could say I was, but unfortunately I'm not Daniel. Just some random metalhead 🤣
Starting things off with *NERVECELL* and you know that this episode is on the right track.
*Thanks for the in-depth presentation, Daniel.*
This is a hell of a list. All of these bands sound fucking brilliant. Props to the UAE scene!
This showcase was top notch, DeeKay! I love how this channel as a whole is passionate about the most passionate music genre on earth no matter where it’s from globally.
Wow. Expat headbanger here living in UAE for 6 months now, I had no idea there was a metal scene here, if anyone has any recommendations of BM bands please do share!
seriously ?😆 the metalhead scene has existed here in UAE ever since . how long have you been living here in UAE ?
@@yrceni6475 living in UAE for 6 months.
🤦♂️
Hit up the _Unmuted Tribe_ ! We have a great community
Super stoked to have been a part of this!! 🤜🤛
I just found your show today. This might piss off some of the metal purists but I literally subscribed to your channel because I how fair you were to the female vocalist from the Middle East. Whom I had never heard of until now so thanks again for turning me on to a new band.
Thank you for checking us out! Glad you like our music. Yes Daniel was very fair about our vocalist Sandy SyN 🤘
@@AmenGraves yeah it's really nice to not be automatically pushed out of place just because of your gender but in the metal scene and in the gaming scene it happens everywhere.
Thanks for subscribing! Glad to have you here.
@@elliesanders5525 yes this happens quite alot in male dominant scenes like the metal scene and the gaming scene. In the beginning we would never really show our vocalist identity just so we can be judged based on our music and I think so far people are doing just that. Ever since this video has been uo we been receiving lots of positive messages so we really thank BangerTV for this ♥️
It's really humbling to realize once again the privilege we have in Europe, although even there there are countries restrictive and censored by religion and the "powers that be". I only just realized that this is something I've taken for granted. Thank you for giving these bands some exposure.
It's not EXTREME metal per se, but I know of a traditional heavy metal band from Dubai called Tabernacle who put out their first demo this year! Pretty solid stuff for fans of USPM and cult classic bands like Manilla Road, Omen and Slough Feg.
I’m truly proud of these unique talented people, the metal scene in Middle East has grown and some of these bands were essential to represent this music coming from this part of the world
All the love and support to all of them 🤘🏻🔥
Thanks Banger Tv, for highlighting UAE metal scene , you guys Rock
Thanks for watching and being part of it!
Great one!
I wish to see an "Egyptian Metal" episode
EIRIK is fucking wicked! Thanks for the discovery!
Overall really interesting episode!
This was excellent! The content on BangerTV is getting fucking good lately.
Thanks for watching
Fine presentation, Daniel. Good choices and solidly backed up by your commentary. You inspired me to check out the links and look into the discographies of the bands you mentioned. I wish you had put the name of the one shout out from Magali (spelling? sorry if messed up) None of the album cover images has any way for me to hope to hunt down that band. And even though you didn't provide a Bandcamp link above, I was able to find two Bandcamp pages for EIRIK. So that was cool. Still, a fine video and great job. May peace and prosperity be on you and all those you hold dear.
This series rules! Love seeing the metal influence around the world!
I am from Oman, and I am metalhead
I'm from Saudi Arabia and I agree.. UAE is the metal hub for the middle east 🤘🤘🤘
Coming from that region I feel every word that musicians and fans utter. Metal is freedom, rebellion and relief and the later two make more sense in the suppressive Middle East. And I think that the cultural shift is unstoppable but takes an exhaustibly long time! Nervecell , man brings back memories; listen to their instrumental: " Taste of Betrayal", it's pretty solid!
Check out the band 'Ascendant' from the UAE, album: "A Thousand Echoes"
The audio clips of these bands sound solid. Aramaic was probably the band I vibed with the most, however there was a vibe with the others just not as strong as with Aramaic. With talent like these bands but being from other countries, hopefully what they do locally is awakens the middle eastern fan to create more metal to be shared with the rest of the world, but with more native roots to get to the foundation of a more pure sounding scene from the middle east.
Thanks for your kind words, glad you dig the band's style, you can check the newer travks released last year, would love to know your feedback
Yeah Aramaic also caught my ear. And so did Eirik. I have to give both a proper listen tomorrow.
Thanks brethren! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Didn't we already have this one?
Yep, I guess someone actually posted the wrong one in advance. I think there were some mistakes in the edit. I remember thinking "why did he mentioned Nervecell when the sample is from Perversion". I refreshed the page for some reason and there was Bangladeshi extreme metal instead of UAE and this one was nowhere to be found.
This one got uploaded and then delisted. Now it’s back
Narjahanam (literal translation: hell Fire, or Fire from Hell) are from Bahrain not UAE. And they kick ass
This is pretty sick, I'm heading to this part of the world soon so good to get some recommendations direct from Daniel's right knee.
Great episode…I learned a lot from this one and now I have a new list of bands to check out. Thanks Daniel!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks!
Still waiting for a show about colombian metal
You won't need to wait much longer!
@@BangerTV great.
🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
It is coming parcerito, hope they feature Masacre, Typhon, Parabellum and current Decarabion...but my guess is not lol
@@ortegayecid yeah. I hope so. Witchtrap, internal suffering etc.
@@cmclbloody man...Internal Suffering...the best
Would appreciate it if y'all looked into Malaysian metal bands as well. Some recommendations Mothflesh, Kreacion, Iron Bird, IV I VI IV, ieon!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Turkish black metal please
I don't think I've heard a Middle Eastern extreme band that I haven't loved!
Dan, thank so much for an awesome review, frank and passionate as metal itself :)
Thanks for watching!
Oh man, Nervecell really hit my turn-of-90’s-deathmetal-and-Sepultura-groove spot! I really have spot like that. It is rare after 30+ years as a metalhead to find an album that makes you drop everything else and just listen and headbang.
Awesome! thanks for watching
13:51 finally something other than death metal
The only UAE metal band I ever came across was Outbreak On The Sun. Nice to see more of a scene happening there. 😁
You forgot to include the bandcamp for EIRIK
so there's a comfortable dungeon?
Love this series! Hope that you can feature the Philippine metal scene too.
bro eirik is Filipino
Cool!!!!Love this Channel.Heavy metal can survive in every country
damn right it can!
thanks a lot
Nice Forbidden shirt
3:55 completely wrong. Turkey never censored heavy metal, it has a thriving heavy metal community since the 80s. all the major heavy metal bands you can think of had shows in Turkey at least several times.
Too bad Andrew WK isn't from the UAE, eh Danny boy? 😎
Are you guys gonna review the new Trivium or just ignore them again? No other hand has put out two great albums during the pandemic like they have. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Our Trivium review is up
@@BangerTV YEEEAAAAHHHH
Here for banger…..staying for DeKay
Curious
love this series!
thanks for watching
Hi Daniel, for what i know, that V.E. you spoke to is an impostor. He wouldn't bother to give any information to any people. Unless you handed him a Ginebra San Miguel premium gin. lol
love the forbidden t shirt dekay
Do Thailand next
Should definately cover Greek Black metal next. i can smell that shits going to light up like a church cuz of bands like varathron and necromantia
Tribe Tribe Tribe Tribe
Tribe Tribe Tribe :)
Still waiting for Indonesian Death Metal scene to appear on this season
Its coming!
Australian Metalcore would be interesting to see
nice choice, we'll add it to the list
when is Morocco coming to the global reviews ?
What scene should we cover?
Go to Portugal (its a metal diamond mine)
check out al-namrood. Theyre middle eastern extreme released by shaytan productions out of Toronto
Please make Venezuela 🤟🤘🤘 Natastor is a good band.
D E K A Y A R M Y
The overkill logo is that from married with children. 🤟🎸🥁😂
that show had a huge influence on BangerTV
As soon as the growling started, mothers covered their kids ears. Hahah yeah thank you for another metalhead, Lady, Because thats what is going to happen.xD People want what they cant have.
"What is this all ABOOT?"
Eirik sounds like old mayhem
If any concert to be played in UAE that receives a complain can be cancelled, why don't metal fans just complain about religious concerts and have them cancelled? What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Just like when religious groups protest outside concerts, all you need to do is protest outside their sunday service.
What happened to the original video?
It was uploaded by mistake. There were some editing/mistakes that needed to be worked out.
@@gwts1171 yeah there was a wrong album cover for the first band
Perversion play death metal the way I like it.
Narjahanam is from Bahrein lol
Anybody can lead me in the direction of Eirik's music?
infernaleirik.bandcamp.com
المجد للشيطان معبود الرياح.
What religion is it?
Did Slayer ever get the opportunity to play in the United Arab Emirates
Probably not due too the Satanic theme!!
No they never did.
@@UnmutedShow they probably would have had to edit out the satanic theme
No but Mayhem did
loving the series, but it's too focused on extreme metal. make an episode on italian prog/power metal or something like that
You may want to check out the Sea Of Tranquility page on CZcams. Especially their show "In The Prog Seat". I'm not sure Banger is too in to that stuff (I like pretty much all music), though.
@@gwts1171 I freakin love sea of tranquility! Not a big fan of in a prog seat tho. When they have too many guests it's not as interesting, but I watch it sometimes
U.A.EWWWW metal scene
After watching this video, I felt more motivated to create a band and play some shows just to piss some people (anti-freedom of speech people)
Showcasing a country with a state religion isn’t very metal. Maybe the companion piece should be how the UAE has restricted metal bands too
Well they are not showcasing the country, they are showcasing the Metal scene in this country and how the bands manage to exist despite restrictions...
At some point it is good to understand that a country does not equal its government or political/religious leaders
First! I win nothing
Except our disappointment at making a "first" comment.
