Just discovered your video thanks for the help really got to say finally someone who explains how to do it not some crappy screen recording that only shows you what to do does not explain it and does not show everything you need
This shortcut doesn’t download videos from the internet. It will only work for videos that are on your phone. It’ll grab the very last video. The one I used was from Instagram for a producer contest so I downloaded that video and ripped the audio.
Does doing this this way compress the audio because I’m trying to do it without compressing the audio and I want the highest quality audio also another question I’m trying to download it in a WAV file does it download it in that type of file
Unfortunately the shortcuts tend to get updated and changed from time to time causing them to no longer work. Try googling “video to audio iOS shortcuts” many of these shortcuts can be found like that. Hope this helps.
I followed your steps, thanks for this video.. I'm just a lil confused cuz I want to be able to extract from youtube videos, so.. would I have to download the video to my iphone first or is there a way to be able to extract without doing that? thanks in advacne :)
Could also try using the screen recorder app in iPhone to save video from a source like CZcams - this will record whatever video you are watching and save it in your video folder
You know you can just add ‘save file’ instead of adding ‘share’. ‘Save file’ would automatically bring up the option to add to your third party app folder

Hey thanks for watching. It has to be the last video saved in you camera roll. This does not download videos from any app or website.

For this particular shortcut, yes it does need to be the latest video and that video has to be the last item in your photos app.
I have a 27 min video and it doesn’t work for it? Is it too long
That could be the issue. It also could be the amount of space on your device.
