Yes, you're right. Suomi still using her original name from the original Girls Frontline. In the 1st GFL, all of the characters are named by the weapon they use. In Suomi case, her weapon is indeed Suomi. And this is been brought In Girls Frontline 2. Other characters have their original name back (Not using their weapon name anymore), like UMP 9 name now is "Lenna", AK Alfa name now is "Tololo", etc.

Some rumor said that we will get Global Server for GFL 2 around the end of this year. It's still not 100% sure, but we can hope.

The NTR controversy is silly, but that was the least of the problems, the gacha, monetization and systems are pretty fkd up in this game. NTR just made the whales quit cause they can't parasocial themselves with the game, while the game itself kicked out low spenders and f2p players for being shitty.
