Honestly, this is one of the best deathcore songs ive listened to. I know there are lots more others but the mixing in this song is just phenomenal. With dickie and jason evans, nothing could ever go wrong. Not forgetting ben duerr's solid vocals. Never heard of them before but now they are one of my favourite bands, keep it up lads

Honestly, a large part of the reason I like Shadow Of Intent is the fact that Ben is really fucking good when it comes it actually pronouncing his words, even when he gets into a range where his words start to lose their form you can still kinda hear it. Dickie though? Dude isn't even forming words when he goes for the super low end, it's just noise. Not all the time but some sections are just absurd.

To each their own I guess. The point of vocals is to say something. If you're just making inhuman sounding noises into a mic then I don't really see what the point is. Personally I think it's the worst trend in the genre.
That is the point of that style of vocals commonly found in genres such as Brutal Death, Slam, "Gore", and "Sludge".
Hurp Durp the whole point of vocals in death metal/deathcore is to provide extra brutality. In this type of music, any and all melody is provided by the guitars anyways, which is the inverse of other types of music. And don't get me wrong, I like when I can at least partially make out the lyrics, but the point of growling vocals is to be brutal, not to clearly articulate each word.
No better song to capture the feeling that the library on legendary gives you
