That's changed now. One can be correct or all can be correct
PRACTICAL NURSE JAYS yup
I know Kaplan has changed their test to 1 possible correct SATA answer based upon NCLEX
If you are nervous about thier NCLEX what helped me the most on my test was not any specific studying trick or lecture (they still helped a lot) but what helped me the most was a mindset.
I got the whole test 145 questions. And passed 1st try.
Before the test I started thinking about the test differently, it’s not like other tests where you need to get a certain percentage with only a couple questions wrong to pass. It’s adaptive meaning as long as I’m answering questions right at the minimum level to pass I will pass.
Theoretically if i’m at the passing baseline i can get all the hard questions wrong so long as I don’t miss any of the Easy Questions. Or another way to look at it is at the passing baseline i can get 1/2 the questions right or wrong and still pass so long as I dint miss any easy ones (only 1/2 the questions i’m asked)
I was sweating over the SATA questions how people were talking about having tests that were mostly SATA. Until I realized SATA questions are the Hard questions, if i’m getting them I must be doing well, if i’m doing well It doesnt matter if i get the SATA question right or wrong. If i’m right good I can get another question wrong later if i’m wrong oh well my next question is easier.
so instead of fearing those questions I started hoping for them. Everytime i got a SATA question it became a little applause that i must have gotten the last question right.
I got to 75 questions and felt like the test would be over soon, by the time i got to 100 i started to panic but reminded myself about the SATA questions. I had gotten a lot of them. They kept me from panicking as my question count kept getting higher. Hard questions became beacons of hope, rather than something to be feared.
thank you for this!! I never thought about it this way
it is so everyone's favorite topic. and then when the professor announces "what happened with the sata questions guys? its like half of you missed them!!"
So what if you look at a statement as true or false and you aren't sure? I normally just put one extra answer or miss putting one answer when I get a SATA question wrong.
How old is this? It now is anywhere from 1+. I know, because I just took it and failed
