You break this down so well!!! Wish I knew about you when I first started nursing school!!!
Thanks, you are a great teacher.clear and straight to the point.
This was soooo helpful, and I got every answer right before you even broke it all down, but it helped me understand a lot better and also will help me when I’m taking the nclex to break the questions down just like this to get to the right answer.... thank you so much!!! God bless you!!!!

I get it......if that be the case when testing is a another question! Practice makes near perfect. Thank you!
I got them all correct and I am a retired virologist, daughter of a nurse and xray tech however! :) I guess that and my AP classes must have helped in the 'critical thinking' style questions. My daughter is studying for the NCLEX PN.

+Olive Nwokorie how is it going?
it is fine

Very good lecture.

For the unconscious patient on the floor, my review book states for a patient in VF to initiate CPR until a defibrillator is available. But in this case the defibrillator is available. That is what made me choose the defibrillator answer. Am I missing something?
+Alexandra Kizhnerman Your FIRST action in finding an unconscious pt. on the floor should be CPR-- not defib. How do you know the defib is available?? The question doesn't state that- that's just an option. Don't assume :-) Just like the question doesn't say the patient has a pulse ox on ;-)
+tootRN, LLC. Thank you :)
hi would it be in a perfect world the defib would be available? according to lacharity research suggest dfib first too im so confuse with this
I thought you have to defibrillate first because VFib is a pulseless rhythm...
Which is correct cpr or defibrillator ?
CPR first
what is saline lock. Pls explain
+Fardowsa Omar It's an IV (catheter) that's flushed with normal saline, then capped off-- or locked.
Thank you!!
A1 information
I got all right but the first question 😩

Your book Nclex play book. What is it all about. I will taking my nclex next month first week. Do you think it will help
I got them all yay I take my exam in 57 days
can I ask a question about one of these?
Of course!
I'm a first year student in my first semester... Should I be concerned that I can't answer any of these correctly?
Not at all! :-)
What about the third one ... Isn't ABC's always the priority? So auscultating the client's breath sounds?
The scenario presented to you is shock; auscultating breath sounds do not help the patient or address the problem :) Short answer-- no, it's not always ABC! Careful :)
You are great.
Bijo George Thank you!
