- Hello guys, Today we will learn how to control the L293D motor driver shield. Through this shield, we can control four gear motors, two stepper motors, and two servo motors. Also, this motor driver shield includes two L293D motor driver ICs.

If you are connecting your shield with External power supply, then you should remove the jumper at PWR port. 3:14

I have 4 gear motors and whenever I try running them all using my motor shield they don't run I always have to spin them with my hands to make them spin and they stop when I apply very small load on them . The power supply is given through motor shield and is 18v.please help(arduino uno) . PWM signal is full too.
I have connected 12 v 300 rpm Johnson motors to my shield and a servo too but one of the motor isn't running , all other motors are getting voltage but one motor is lying in between 1v and the shield ic is getting heated , how to solve?

yes, GPIO pin 2 and 13 are unused
also A0 to A5 are unused

I have used li-on bettry 3.7 volt 1200 mah (3 battery in series) in same motor driver but after battery connection my motor drive' IC is started to burn so what is perfact mah and volt for this motor driver

Pls use 7 volt bez i have experience my bettry volt is 3.7 and using 3 battery in series so. Ic was burn pls use a powerbank in aurdino by usb and give extra power by adapter in arudino don't gave power in motor driver i have two time experience

ULTRA FIRE xd, 4800 mAh yeah in what reality. Max capacity for 18650 is around 3500 mAh closer to 3450. I once was young and stupid too and bought 16 18650 from ultrafire 8 with 7800 mAh and 8 with 8800 mAh. To obtain real capacity value you simply need divide by 10
