I think I saw some Stay Free's in there🤣 I keep a grab stick and bucket in the back of my truck, because I pick up plenty of garbage out on the road ( sometimes even barehanded 🤷♂️ ) but there's just some stuff I won't even touch, even with the grab stick. Not to mention the few times I've randomly remembered to empty the bucket, only to be assaulted with some of the worst garbage truck puke, sewage and homeless feet stench ever 😷 😷 😷 😖😵💫🤣 Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it, but less litter is worth it, yet you can't pick up everything....

I'm surprised you didnt use trash bags to put some of the trash. Ad for the boxes you could have cut or folded them to make room. Surprised that some neighbors dont take turns in cleaning up. Lazy thoughtless people. Not sure what is going on with the owners unless house is abandoned. The appraisers should have taken note of the issue just like they do when helping raise taxes. Shame.

Here’s hoping the city gets out there and hauls it all away. You guys really went above the call on this yard, the transformation was truly amazing, night and day.

There is a place that handles troubled conditions. They say their policy is that if you see a fire, you run towards it, not away from it. You two have found some really damaged areas yet you "run for them" and figure out solutions to make the places livable, safe again. This one, once you had repaired/cleaned several major backlogs, the yard began dropping back into the "just an overgrown yard" category. Many thanks for your courage, observation and persistence. Scattered trash picked up, gutter cleared, street width recovered, parking strip usable, sidewalk usable, fences recovered, edging and mowing done. Nice work. The front yard is neat and more in line with the neighborhood.

Perhaps the property owner has passed away without any known heirs. Or, perhaps heirs who cannot care for the property fir any number of reasons. Or, perhaps the owner is in a nursing home. Or, perhaps the property owner doesn't have the money to hire needed services. Paul Harvey used to say "And now for the rest of the story." If you've never heard of him, may I suggest that you take a moment to listen to some of his stories?
